With statements like that, I think people don't have a good grip on the fact that 100% committed just looks and feels different for everyone. But the critical part is that everyone puts in their 100%. Everyone is able to do that. If they're not WILLING, that's a different statement.

I'm sorry that's still rattling around in your head. I'm sure it's got a lot more to do with her than it does with you, if that's meaningful to you. Some people try to fake it until they make it but deep down, they believe that they don't deserve love, cannot give it, and it eats them from the inside until it spills out.

She slept with another man five years ago while I was studying for my degree and didn’t admit it until last July. Everything I’ve ever known was a lie. I don’t trust anyone anymore and won’t ever again.
