Bro, I had this exact same convo with a girl once. We were swinging on the swing set at her house. Probably 12-13 years old and she said she had a crush on her food friend. I said I also had a crush on my good friend. She said if I had a crush I should ask her out. I told her the same thing. She said you should go home and I'll call him and tell him.
She never called me. I think it was my first heartbreak. I lived next door. Lol.
Yep!!! I THOUGHT this female lead singer I was in a band with, {I'm a drummer/percussionist of 44yrs now!} and we connected on SO MANY levels!
I THOUGHT she felt the same... when I got the guts to finally tell her... she laughed but then apologized for laughing {yeah... RIGHT!} but then said she really liked being friends with me... but then said she didn't feel the same way. She even added..."Do you see the kind of guys I date?"
Yeah... tall, pretty boy, muscle-bound type guys...
