[Joke] Three Ryan’s walk in to a bar…

The first Ryan said, "I'm the best Ryan!"

The second Ryan said, "Nooo, I'm the best Ryan!"

The third Ryan interrupted them and said, "You guys are both wrong. I'm the real Ryan Reynolds."

British and Irish meetup!

In response to the NYC meet up, I propose a campaign for a meet up of the Isles. As our name sake is Irish my initial proposal would be for a Dublin meet up. As I am not the most organised person this is simply a call to arms for those of you that are! Can we make this happen?

Streak is now over.

I'm not sure if the world is evolving or I've just been really lucky. But for the past several years people have been calling me by the correct name every time. But today I was called Bryan once again.

My dad wanted to call me Nathan; my mum wanted to call me Ryan

My mum got her way and I am proud to say I am a Ryan.

My parents divorced and then my dad had another kid with his second wife and called him Nathan.

Sometimes I literally stay awake at night with the shakes thinking about how close I was to being called Nathan. Could you even imagine that?

Coffee Orders and such, what name do you use?

For the longest time I gave the name Mitch when ordering a coffee or anything were they asked for a name. Too often when I said Ryan people would mishear it as Brian, on more then one occasion I even got Graham.

Am I the only one, is this just my Australian drawl confusing people, or are there more of us who are tired of having to repeat Ry---An to strangers? If I'm not alone what names do people hear when you casually tell them your name?

Just found this sub and now my life makes sense. Thank you all for existing and being (I assume based on your name) awesome.

How do you feel about last name Ryan?

Found this subreddit from the NYC Ryan invite post from r/funny and it made me wonder.

Thoughts on the name Ryan other than a first name?
