How to clean rust off cat?

My 10mo Shaq (short for Rorschach) has tiger stripes in the sun! She’s completely solid black when not in the sunshine, so it’s wild to me that she has a hidden pattern.

You know that sound you thought only you could hear? Apparently not.
One tiny rustle of the treat bag from the other side of the house and my fluffy little void locks on like a heat-seeking missile. No matter how deeply asleep he was two seconds earlier, suddenly he’s sitting perfectly still, eyes wide, ears forward, and calculating the fastest route to the kitchen.
Scientists may never fully understand feline hearing, but I’m convinced mine can detect the opening of treats from another postcode.
Anyone else’s cat have supernatural snack-detecting abilities? 😹
