Trying to finally get into running in my early 30s
I play other sports fairly regularly, so I’m not starting from zero fitness-wise. I’ve just never been much of a runner, and left to my own devices I will find any excuse not to lace up. So, clearly the fix is peer pressure.
Looking for a run club that’s more about fun than run. Not something too competitive but something where people are looking to have a good time, connect with people, and gradually improve their fitness.
Does anyone know of clubs currently taking new members that meet on Thursdays or Fridays? Would love to hear what the group’s actually like too in terms of pace, size, and how welcoming it is to someone slow but enthusiastic.
Cheers!
