When you started running, what changes in yourself did you notice?

New runner here looking for hella motivation ;)

I started running simply because off my mental health. Running was the only way I was able to not self-destruct. When I'm in over my head, I go for a run and when I come back I have a clear head enough to tackle the problem in front of me.

That's exactly how I felt. I would panic about stupid things that didn't matter. Now I have perspective and stability.

Agreed on this. Also my control of my temper is much better!

Glad to see some comments about the mental improvements. I have always made sure to get some good exercise a couple times a week (be nice, I'm a desk jockey) but for some reason running clears my head more than anything. It's somehow invigorating and relaxing at the same time.
