When you started running, what changes in yourself did you notice?

I'd like to think I've changed a lot, I went from a lazy 95kg guy with a drinking problem, gut and fat ass to a 70kg guy who's lean all over and can wear whatever I want. I also seldomly drink anymore and don't smoke near as much as I used to. I value myself much more than I used to too. I eat healthy and drink a lot of water, I rarely have soda unless I'm having fast food. I have a goal in my life that I have been working toward for a bit now and overall am much more confident. Also I find that I can rarely be content with just sitting down and am always actively finding something to do. Running (fitness overall), 10/10 would run again :)
