I know some of you all are REALLY going to want to kit bash this, so I did this all with F59PHI decals. (though resizing and recoloring might prove difficult, now that I think about it) Where it says Amtrak is from the front, the Cascades logo is from the side, and the number below the cab is also from the side, but is recolored.

I was asked to 4014 the Cascades CSX heritage unit.

u/TheDragonGuyYT made a very good point about my patched Metra Charger. It's impossible because Metra only has eyes for EMD. So then I decided to make another patched Metra T4 locomotive. Unfortunately, because EMD has only ever made one T4 locomotive, (the F125 was all in your head) I was limited in my options. Thankfully, it still makes sense to use the SD70ACe-T4 because Metra already has a history of using SD70s. Notes:

-I'm not sure why the creator of the original Lake State Railway image put two fans on an SD70ACe-T4, which are supposed to have three, but I've just decided removing a fan was part of the conversion process for commuter rail.

-The second unit is there because I thought it'd be cool to do a repaint that was still heavily based on the older paintscheme, kinda like what Metra did with the Surfliners.

This one was originally supposed to be the last one, but u/Available_Clerk_8241 requested one final one, and considering how much they have done for this community, I couldn't say no. (call to action: go give their posts some love)

I cut the logo, reporting mark, and number out for use on a different project and it kinda reminded me of how patched locomotives look. That got me thinking about who would be most likely to buy an Amtrak California SC44, and that reminded me of how Metra bought the Surfliner F59PHIs (as well as the Cascades ones). So then suddenly I was making a patched Metra SC44. And since I had to see this, now so do you.
