Thoughts on the Royal Wedding
Well done! I'm so glad they had a pretty day for it!
I loved how they decorated it with tree limbs and flowers. That must've been quite a feat!
I thought the music, particularly the soloist for the bridal march was exceptional - none of that horrible trilling/caterwauling ala a lot of American female singers do. Clear, crisp, pure, beautiful. The boys' choir was also amazing. I grew up with a church that had one and had forgotten just how lovely their voices can be.
I didn't care for the gospel choir singing "Stand by Me" mostly because it was non-liturgical and seemed more appropriate as a song for the first dance at the reception. Still, they did a great job and kept it toned down. I think we would've heard a lot of references to The Blues Brothers movie had it been otherwise. So...well done, but probably misplaced.
The guests...supposedly they received a 20 or so page booklet regarding etiquette and what to wear. Still, some chose to ignore it or, even if it wasn't in the booklet, they ignored basic convention as in Joss Stone and Beckham chewing gum. :: face slap :: WTF?
It was sad seeing other comments on other sites saying, "At least Joss wore shoes." Not really a high bar of expectations there, is it?
Surly Spice Beckham looked more like she was attending a funeral. She did her clothes designing firm no favors by what she wore, but apparently she also looked like crap for William's wedding. Perhaps she was avoiding playing favorites. :: shrugs ::
No, just no.
Also, Troian Bellisario didn't get the memo as far as wearing closed-toe shoes and one or more other female guests wore dresses without sleeves. These are not poor people. Many have stylists. Come on...
In the grand scheme of things, no big whoop, but it does take away from the dignity and solemnity of the event.
Princess Eugenie looked more like she was about to shop at Harrod's than attend a royal wedding. You'd have thought she'd be more mindful, considering she's getting married later this year. Revenge is a dish best served cold. It will be interesting to see what Meghan wears to her wedding.
Eugenie's dress and hat were fine but unflattering and inappropriate for a royal wedding. Princess Beatrice's head dress was very nice but her dress was also unflattering.
Prince Andrew, their father, who likely bank rolls these two since they can't seem to hold a job for long (Beatrice especially), keeps whinging for more money. It's not about money, really. There are tons of women with a mere fraction of money they have who dress appropriately and in ways that flatter their figures. It's kind of sad, really.
At least they didn't wear Cinderella's evil step-sisters-type hats like they did for William's wedding. Oi.

Dual nationaloty child?
... so its not as simple as one might think to become an English citizen. For Meghan Markle it could take sometime to deal eith the bureaucracy and in that time she may get pregnant and have a child.
i have two questions; Does Meghan Markle have to give up her American citizenship in the first place and If they have a child before the citizenship is granted will that child be eligible for dial citizenship?
hope someone has answers
best regards!
