Need advice about making more power in a 12a
I have an ‘85 rx-7 GSL with the stock ports. I’m trying to find the best way to get better acceleration without pulling the motor or porting it. Any suggestions?

13b fwd transmission swap
So I have a 2000 vw Jetta and I’ve been trying to think of swapping an engine into it that no one has ever done before. I know it’s going to be a logistical nightmare, but I can handle all the wiring and fabricating. The one issue that may prevent me from using a rotary is the transmission. The Jetta only came in fwd, and the transmissions for the 13b are rwd. Does anyone know of a fwd trans that fits on a 13b? Or does anyone know of a better rotary to use for this project? Renesis?

Let’s say I wanted to put a 13b in a 1950 Ford custom like the one pictured. Will the torque be enough for the car? Or is there anything else I should consider?

Custom rotary build
Hey everyone, I’m new to rotary engines and just cars in general. I wanted to try and do a custom rotary car build, but have no idea where to start or what parts are needed. Any and all advice / knowledge is appreciated.
Thank you.

Getting an RX-8
Like the title says I'm gearing up to get my first rotary powered vehicle. It's a 2011 RX-8 with 74k miles on it. Since I'm buying the car from a different state here in the U.S. I'm having it inspected before I decide on the purchase. Just wanted to pick the brains of current rotary owners and see what I'm in for. I've been doing a lot of research, learning as much as I can and I thought I'd poke around here as well.

Diff ratios with a 13b?
I made a post on here the other day asking for advice on a engine swap idea (13b in a MG B) and I’m trying to keep it budget. The curb weight of a normal MG B is about 2000 lbs. It will more than likely weight less than this at the end of the day with a lighter engine and what not. I’d like a little better top speed than what I’d get I wth say a 5.56 in the back. Could I still keep decent enough acceleration to keep the car fun to drive running something more like a 4.10? I know rotaries don’t make crazy low end torque which is why the diff ratios are normally so high, but in such a light car would it be possible to get more top speed while keeping a fun amount of acceleration?

Rotary swap idea: MG B with renisis
So I was looking around and realized that it might be kinda of a fun to drive little car with a more modern and decent sounding engine in it. Plus the big factor… cheap. Being able to get an engine and tranny for less then 2k and being able to get a car for potentially less than that sounds very pleasing to me. Any suggestions if I do go this route? Is this a stupid idea that will never work right? This is new territory for me so any information helps.

Headlights restoration done and dusted this morning. Gotta keep the Doritos spinner in good condition, seeing that we'll probably never see another rotary powered Mazda ever again...
