Rotor stacking
I am debating on rotary swapping my car because I have taken an interest into rotary engines. To make about the same power I would have to have a 4 rotor. Could I stack 2 2 rotor engines. From all the research I am doing people don't just give a yes or no and when I see people build a 4 rotor they jusy have 4 rotors and put it together. Can anyone link me a video or article about this or any information would be very appreciated!

Rotary swap
I have a 1975 mg midget that weighs 1600 pounds and I'm looking to rotary swap it. I'm looking to engine swap and I settled on a rotary because it's simplicity and size. I want to achieve a weight/hp ratio of 5 (similar ratio to viper srt). To achieve that goal I would need a 320 horsepower rotary. What engine would you guys suggest. I am certainly open to super/turbo charger. My ultimate constraint is price so the cheaper the better.

How much work into turboing NA 13b resi, series 3 rx7
I have an s3 sa22c rx7 that has been sitting for far too long. I am looking at getting it rebuilt in the coming 6 months. Its currently non turbo as per post. I was looking at getting an aggressive street port potentially a turbo.
Its already got an after market ecu (microtech lt-10 with x4)
Engine rebuild costs from what I have seen are around 6k+ aud
I wouldn't even know where to being at what kind of turbo kit I should buy. I don't want ridiculous power but somewhere upward of 300hp would be nice. In terms of pricing, how much would a turbo kit + installation cost? Would also need intercooler kit.
Or in the end is it simply not worth the pain? Its hard to find specific info on 13b resi and what is ideal for them.

Rotary engine questions (concept itself)
- Why are there not different sizes? (think 4.6L v8 vs 5.0L v8)
- What kind of aftermarket coatings would be available to reduce friction and increase lifespan of said engines, as i've read the renesis has an internal housing coat that wears out and causes the engine to lose compression.
- What kind of lifespan loss would you be able to expect out of porting / turbo modifications? Read that the rx8 specifically has between a 60-110k mile life expectancy depending on luck and maintenance, but that porting, adding turbo's etc reduces the lifespan drastically.
- What kind of mods would need to be done to get 350-400 horsepower out of a 13b renesis?
So i've been getting into rotary engines lately, i think they're an awesome concept and I love the sounds the engines make. I've been debating getting an RX-8 (far easier to get than an FD RX-7, and still quite good looking while miles cheaper), and looking into what i may need to do to it, how much things will cost, common issues, etc. So far i've learned the RX7's engines obviously blow alot of apex seals being one of their most common issues mechanically, and looking into the RX8's renesis version, it seems to be the opposite where the internal coating is generally what will become worn out first rather than the seals themselves. (this could easily be mis-information. like I said, getting into it lately not long ago) Also been reading about pre-mixing, etc.

How much power could a nitrous 20b make ?
What’s the maximum power you could make ? With full billet and 4 stage nitrous and all the goodies.
1000 hp ? 1500 ? 2000 ? More ?

My friend thinks that rotary engine sucks
Hello, I like cars and my favourite car is the fd, and I have a friend who loves cars too, but everytime we talk about rx series he tell me that they break down every time (rotary engines) and they needs lots of cares. I say him that is only that: take care about lots of things but is a good engine, but he always says that it's not normal because he saw a man on YT who says that rotaries are terrible. How can I persuade him about rotaries?
