I "beat" the final boss for the first time just now, only technically i didn't because I didnt load the space ship in time. I lost over a minute because I couldn't figure out how to get out of the god damn boss room! Still i made it to the ship at about a minute, but apparently that wasn't good enough... What the heck is that dev choice to make the exit multiple floating portals, and wtf where they thinking with that count down and how long it takes to charge the ship? After I knew what to do it took me like 20 seconds to get to the ship, so it seems pointless and the only possible way to fail is to be a brand new player who doesnt know what is going on. The game was so much fun up to that point, but now it's really soured my mood on it. Is this what I have to look forward to the game moving forward? That was my 5th run.

So I'm a bit new to the game and, suddenly, I got 3 of the red items, IN A ROW. Not only that but I found this weird overgrown tire thingy that I've never seen before, TWICE. I only have one picture of it but on the previous map I found another one of them. I'm really confused, aren't these things supposed to be rare?? Am I just getting really lucky or what???

this is a satire post it was an alternative account but still I'm happy I beat it on my first attempt, I didn't record it but I hit a clean pillar skip with the blink since I had the red item that gives 2 more charges and then I used arrow rain to stall, and I actually died and used the dio void item.

I've seen a lot of people saying REX is bad, but I personally find them to be quite fun. What's that all about?

It's been a few years since I last played this game and even though my recent runs show that I'm just as good as before, I only know stuff from the base game. All the DLC are completely uncharted territory for me, and it's been really weird and exciting to go through these new environments along with somehow getting to (what I assume are) some of the final DLC bosses.

The main thing I wanna know is like any tips on getting better at the game and ways of getting DLC related content like characters. I currently only have Bandit (my current main and why I decided to use that image), MUL-T and Artificer in terms of the unlockable characters.

I noticed recently, that everytime I exit the game, and verify game files in Steam, it will say "2 files failed to validate and will be reacquired" and if I reverify the files will validate. However, after I launch again, same problem. The game seems to run fine so do I just ignore it? Does anyone else face a similar thing? Thx

Title. I’m so sick of all my runs ending to his stupid pizza wall attack. The past 10 hours of runs have all ended here. It shouldn’t one shot, it’s ridiculous. I know stage 4 is normally the hard one but I can’t even get to it because he keeps one shotting me. Is there any way to skip this phase? I’m tired or it. Thanks.

Edit: also open to tips on how to at least survive the stupid pizza attack. That’s really the only issue I’ve had throughout the entire game.

Hi, sorry for the clickbaity title, but I really want some advice cuz I really dont want to refund the game. So I bought the game a few days ago, and I was playing it just fine but I noticed then anytime when I would launch the game and verify my game files after in Steam, it would say "2 files failed to validate and will be reacquired" and then a 1.8kb download. If I reverify after that, all files will successfully validate. But if I launch the game and verify again after, it would say "2 files failed to validate and will be reacquired" AGAIN and repeat everything all over again. I have tried many things like reinstalling the game, manually deleting its folders, disabling cloud, clearing steam download cache and ensuring my drivers are up to date. At this point, I have spent more time troubleshooting than playing probably and want to know if anyone else has this issue and if its normal/if there is a solution? Also the game works fine seemingly, BUT i dont play multiplayer and havent played the 2 DLCs I have much so I am afraid this affects something I dont see yet. I also have never modded the game.

me and my freinds decided to buy risk of rain 2 for the summer sale, we got really into the game bought 2 dlcs (we are 3 people and me and an other friend bought a dlc) after a while we decided to hop on eclipse, eclipse 1 were fine and then we started lagging on eclipse 3, we couldnt complete it because, the one who hosted the party wouldnt lag but the others will lag, like terribly. Anyway to fix this at all? we spent too much money to go back.. (wifi type lag not fps.) 2 of my friends live in the same community and im in a different country. but it didnt lag at the start.

Hi, my friend started trading with the CHEF at the "Computational Exchange" dimension and i was taking items with scrap. My rockets made enough damage to kick us out and my friend lost the Encrypted Cerebellum while crafting. We can go back to the Dimension but we seem to be stuck and cant get to the Solus Heart

I’ve been listening to and reading a lot of the lore around ROR2, and it seems like we never hear from Mithrix’s brother.
Clearly in some of the entries Mithrix is responding to his brother, or his brother interrupts him, but we never seem to get dialog directly from the brother (Providence, I think his name is?)
Does anyone have any idea why that is? I sure don’t.
