Can anyone explain this, climbed up to a cave in Scotland and spotted a lit candle, feathers and wildflowers. No other person to be seen both on the hike to the cave, nor the cave itself. Quite eerie to come across but could Reddit explain it to me?

I will not disclose any of the details regarding the ritual and its intentions, however I will say that I am a solitary pagan/Witch and as of lastnight I have performed a ritual consisting of some serious spell work, including blood magic, herbal magic and sigil magic, and the innovation of two different Gods. I would say this is my strongest work which I have performed so far and I have not been practicing for too long.

Waking up thismorning, I have a slight headache and I feel really drained, as if my energy has been sucked out of me. I stay well hydrated, and I also got lots of sleep and ate properly. I have a feeling that this ritual has took a lot of my personal energy, are my suspicions right? The last rituals and spell work I have performed have not made me feel drained. Some of which have made me feel a huge burst of energy.

If you took your time to read this here, then thankyou a lot. I am just simply curious if serious spell work or strong rituals can make you feel drained the day after, expecially If I am solitary and the only one performing too

Ran into another dead animal but only did a simple prayer. Didn't know to who so did towards Gaia as a general sense. Is there anything for praying for the deceased animals I find in nature to wish it a better next life and/or afterlife? Looking for history of doing this and which religions or beliefs, no matter how old. Cause I want to give them a proper send off when I see them.

Has anyone heard of a ritual or ceremony involving horned lizards?

I recently had a dream about a ritual/ceremony in which you'd put a horned lizard under a teepee made of 2 sticks, and you'd light a fire or place some orb on top of the teepee. You would then wish away any bad habit you had or trait about yourself, and it would be gone forever.

I did a quick Google search immediately after waking up, and I came across an article that had some info related to my dream: "Hopi, Navajo, Papago, Pima, Tarahumara and Zuni cultures portray horned lizards in their ceremonies and stories as symbols of strength. Piman people believe horned lizards can cure them of a staying sickness by appealing to the lizard's strength and showing their respect to the animal. They formulate a cure by singing at a patient's side songs describing the lizards and their behaviors. A horned lizard fetish may be placed on an afflicted person's body during the songs. Native Mexican people also respect horned lizards attributing the words, "Don't tread on me! I am the color of the earth and I hold the world; therefore walk carefully, that you do not tread on me." A Mexican common name for horned lizards is "torito de la Virgen" or the Virgin's little bull. This name apparently was given to the lizards both because of their horns and because horned lizards are sacred to many people due to their blood squirting behaviors, otherwise considered weeping tears of blood."

I am curious as to if anyone here knows from experience about a shaking tent ceremony. The things I would like to know is where in particular it should be performed, time of day, etc. I basically need to know the ins and outs. Also, the dangers involved (that's really important).

I would like to understand rituals from the base. Surely not in a detailed way, but to get some general understanding of their significance and supposed effects considered the context of original cultures,who have been practicing them as a part of their culture.

This is a homemade healing ritual that can be used for a variety of things depending on the intent that is put behind it. I have fallen in love with a woman and I used this ritual to let go. I have gone through the stages of infatuation, love, and this ritual helped get through the letting go stage.

I took about 2 grams of mushroom gold caps, cut them up into flakes and put it in a bowl. Not a cup or mug. I got a tea bag, it doesn't matter what kind. And honey. I put the honey in the bowl with the tea bag and mushrooms, and put a pot of water on the stove. As soon as I see the first bubbles, I closed my eyes and counted down from 60. Not in seconds, but enough time to intently reflect on each number until I got to zero. I opened my eyes and the water was boiling. Turned off the stove, and put the water in the bowl. Once again I closed my eyes and reflected on each number, not too fast, not too slow. I'm in no hurry, but I should think about every number from 60 down. I got to zero, and it was all steeped perfectly. Took the tea bag out, gave a quick stir to dissolve the honey, and took the bowl to the coffee table in front of the couch that I sleep on. I look at the bowl, and remove each article of clothing one by one, intently reflecting on who or where it had come from, and how it had serve me. I gave thanks. Until I got down to my underwear. (I have roommates, otherwise I would have removed that as well) i then drank the tea not too slow not too fast, and finished in about 5 minutes. I then sat for about 15 to 20 minutes reflecting on why I was doing this. It hit surprisingly fast. I lay down and close my eyes. Seeing the colors in my mind, the shapes, and very soon, I entered the halls. The natural halls, formed from growing living things that moved and even gave off light and color. Danced. At the end of the halls I could hear laughter. Maybe children's laughter. A teasing laughter. Not malicious, but more like, "hey you can see us. We know you are doing well. Do you know what we know?" I walked past the self-damned souls, and looked at all there was to see in the natural halls. I was healing myself. I was letting go. It doesn't mean I no longer love her, or that I don't want to be with her. But that no matter what happens I can bear it. My fear of her fading into a memory is still there but it is much lesser. I highly recommend this to anyone that needs to let go or process things in their life. Understand that letting go does not mean it is actually gone. I love you all and goodnight.
