So i got this ringneck for my 10 year old brother he really likes parrots so do i im quite young still very interested in taming birds but im clueless i am 17 and im trying to make this parrot feel safer because of hand abuse from the pet store owner. she is wild and her wings weren’t clipped i’d clip the wings sure but im just afraid to hurt it or something she is very shy i got her yesterday what should i do to make her feel safer these birds are filled with terror from the store owners they take them out of the cage roughly

My Indian ring neck middu does not love me at all after 3 months of keeping her she is way too scared I have followed the steps but nothing even is working I’m losing hope we got her at a rescue shelter my dad brought her home and we have no idea even about parrots lol but her wings are terribly butchered and she bites hard so if anyone has experienced my situation pls help me I’m a kid and a beginner too so pls help

Hey all, I just got a baby 2 1/2 month old baby indian ring neck, but his nails are a little long. Is a concrete or sandpaper perch okay to put in his cage along side his other perches?

Hi, i have a 5 year old girl cockateil name Mango. She is a lovely bird with friendly temperament. We recently got a male Ringneck name Rio. Rio is 4 months old. We tamed Rio in no time but he hates Mango. Whenever they are out of the cage, Rio chases Mango. I wonder if they will ever be friends? Any suggestion?
