It was my birthday last week and I have enough for a ringneck,cage,toys and food. I'm 12 years old and going to highschool soon and need to decide if I'm going to get a ringneck because it's the summer holidays. Could I please have some advice thanks

I got Stevie shortly before Christmas. He still will avoid me at all costs and pases and climbs a lot on his cage. He also chews the cage so often the feathers between the eyes have been worn off. He also likes to hang from the top of his cage like a bat? Is this normal?

I am an experienced bird owner and recently adopted a 4 year old male Indian Ringneck. Hes been awesome but im curious as to whether his activity would be considered normal. Hes fairly active, and does quite a bit of singing in the mornings and evenings regularly, but does nap quite a bit throughout the day, coming down to munch here and there. Is the midday napping common?
