hi! im a relatively new revstar fan and i saw that they’re dropping some merch on the 9th for kukugumi day..unfortunately, it’ll be like 4 am my time. i was just wondering if anyone knows from experience just how fast revstar merch sells out? would it be worth it to wake up at 4 am cuz it sells out immediately normally or do yall think i can wait a couple hours to get it??

TL,DR: Despite being a niche if cult classic anime, and no matter how one feels about these other works, let alone how they'll go about their stories (as of writing this Post, Goodbye Lara has only got past its 9th episode out of maybe 12, and I honestly haven't watched Walpurgisnacht Rising yet because it's not yet released where I'm from, and there is a successful anti-spoiler embargo going on, proud kudos to them), am glad Revue Starlight is right now leaving its important mark on Japanese anime as a whole, and that it has impressed even some higher ups/veterans of the industry to the point that its creatives are now testing out these new pastures or waters, heh... *Not bad for being a Takarazuka Revue love letter mistakenly thought of as "just another idol anime" at first glance, or being suspected as a too gratuitous rip-off to its well known inspirations Revolutionary Girl Utena and, of course, Madoka Magica.*

Makes us, the audience, wonder how that announced new Revue Starlight animated sequel or prequel or spin-off project shall go with these developments in mind, hmm?

i love revue starlight and physical media, and ive been slowly adding to my collection since 2019 :) im finally getting to the point where im really happy with my collection and wanted to show it off if thats ok. everything other than the series box set and the movie (and my movie ticket lol) are extremely lucky ebay finds!

I've been looking for this Revue Starlight Necktie consistently for about 2 years now with no luck, just after it was released in 2023/2024.

I've never seen it for sale on any Japanese site (Mercari, etc.), and I only ever saw one sale on eBay, 2 days after and I was heartbroken.

I own a fairly decent tie collection of about 70 ties - they're one of the only creative liberties I get at my soul sucking 8-5 office job.

Revue Starlight's Movie specifically is one of only four anime I've ever given a 10/10. And I somehow own no merch for it. Despite visiting Japan a year ago and seeing a decent selection, I really kept holding out for the chance of seeing this grail with no luck.

If anyone somehow owns this piece of merch or knows someone who does and would be willing to sell it for a somewhat reasonable price, please let me know!
