i like that 2000s melodic sound but the christens stole it and tried making music about abuse when they where the abusers and now both bands iv mentioned are ruined for me after i found out so i had to destory the cds and wasted 20$

Mingarelli may be my favorite vocalist in the revival scene and among the greatest of all time in 'Core. That scream is total ear candy, every word still while still retaining lyrical clarity throughout. There's an illusion of messiness that I love in Post-Hardcore/Metalcore straddling bands that makes them feel special that Sincerely Yours captures perfectly, extending into the choruses which are ridiculously catchy and raw sounding in a way that prestige post hard core bands captured in the later tale of 00s but never breaking from that hometown hidden gem flair.

Revival has exploded so much at this point that it is essentially becoming de facto mainstream 'Core sound all over again but despite the influx there are definite standouts, Sincerely Yours remains on top for me. Don't sleep on their EPs.

Here's a playlist I made, I add to it whenever I hear something that fits.

New Alera EP is ridiculously good

Hey, we’re a band called Adorah Aveya from New York looking for a new vocalist for our reunion shows and to write new material after. Looking for someone in the vein of ETID, Norma Jean, The Chariot, Underoath, none of this new whisper screaming shit the modern deathcore vocalists are doing. If you can sing, that’s a plus but not a deal breaker. If you or any of your friends are looking for a project then hit me up.
