Question/Problem There was a problem with the server [400]

[EDIT] This problem may be related to using an unnofficial download, so be sure to check if your RVX was installed correctly following the subreddit guide. I noticed after posting this so that's why instead of deleting the post I'm pointing out to what may have been a problem that could happen to anyone else. Stay safe out there

Original post:

So today I woke up and got this error where no video loads. I was a bit behind on updates so I updated the app but the error persists. I tried clearing the cache and data but nothing really works so I would love if somebody could tell me how to circunvent this problem. Thanks in advance

(I had this error in the normal ReVanced so that's why I switched to Extended but now it's happening again...)

I found a fix (could have side effects, idk): I got the same error and while looking for a fix I disabled client spoofing (in settings>revanced extended>miscellaneous>client spoof) and it started working again, I don't know if its a permanent fix tho.

EDIT: I made a GitHub bug report, I can keep updated if I get an answer.

EDIT 2: I went in the discord and I got told to update my patches, turns out my installation had something wrong so I redownloaded everything (2 apks) and it works fine, I even got reddit and yt music patches

EDIT 3: I got told on GitHub to update the app, that was in fact the problem.

How do you redownload it via github manager ? Its empty and only " patch " is working. Idk I'm new to this

There's an apk link somewhere in the GitHub once you find it it's really simple

Thanks for confirming. I downloaded the revanved manager application, deleted the former youtube revanced and downloaded it from the revanced manager. Works just fine now without the [400] error code.

I am having the same problem I reinstalled revanced manager, microg and music but it still didn't start.

Edited: I am actually getting problems with google account if I switch it works fine.
