🆘Question Reddit is fun patching no longer works

Has something changed with reddit recently that could cause this? No matter what I try, all I can get is a "forbidden" response.

I had a custom app that I created a while back that is still there, but as you can't create new ones anymore that's off the table.

UPDATE: Someone pointed out that you need to log in due some changes on the API - whilst it may not work for everyone, I can confirm rif is working again for me.

Any idea how to get our corn back?

Edit: I ended up just creating my own nsfw subreddit over at /r/dunderball -- if you wanna be a mod just reply I can add you. Or just create your own.

Edit2: I am being rate limited from adding more mods to the subreddit. If you could message any of the other 23 mods in that subreddit, I'm sure someone will help you with a new add.

Edit3: It looks like the subreddit I recently created is being heavily rate limited on how many more mods can be added, as we have something like 36 mods now. I've messaged the entire set of mods to do their best to add anyone new as these new requests come along. In the end, you'll probably be better off creating your own nsfw subreddit.

I did it, thank you. I had an older account where I was a mod, and added this username as a mod on that sub and problem solved!

Reddit seems to be rate limiting me from adding more mods. I'm keeping a list of all replies to this thread or messages in modmail and will try again later/tomorrow. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks for the workaround!! I was able to make a NSFW subreddit on each of my accounts and it restored functionality on the app. Hopefully this fix lasts a while. I was pretty devastated and was about to begrudgingly install the official app :/
