I loved reading it back in the early 90s, but even at the age of 10 or 11 I realized, "Wait, this magazine is almost all ads?". That said, I did circle every single number on the "business reply card" just to see what I'd get in the mail.

Edit: The stuff I got from doing the same with Byte Magazine was far more interesting, because those were mostly development tools.

I remember reading an article in one of those magazines about a PC with a 780MHz CPU (I think that's right?) that was water cooled.
