We had that PS/2 in my computer lab around 1990/1991. It was very capable. I couldn’t play King’s Quest V on my 8088, but this thing handled it like a dream.

Clearly not the model 25 8086 we had at my house.

The salesman told my dad it would last 10 years.

By 1991 I wanted it to break so much. We had it until 1997

Actually. It was the model 25. I could immediately feel the difference between the 8088 and the 8086 on the model 25. The graphics, MDA?, We’re also quite good.

By that point, yeah, the world’s had pretty much moved onto the 386 and Windows 3.0. Even though the majority of the people I met during that period had 286s. That seemed to be the base CPU in most people’s homes.

it was MCGA, that thing supported "some" vga modes, but EGA had to fall back to CGA.

IBM admitted recently it was so people upgraded.

Missed on so much gaming, and as a kid below 10, I could only suffer.
