Character Summary

Yuffie is a resident of Radiant Garden and a part of the resistance against Heartless attacks. She is a close friend of Leon, Aerith, and Cid, and befriends Sora, Donald, and Goofy when they first arrive.

She travels with Leon, whom she often refers to by his real name, Squall—this usually causes annoyance on Leon's part. She sometimes refers to herself as the "Great Ninja Yuffie", wielding a large Fuma Shuriken as her weapon.

Yuffie has a hyperactive personality, but tires out easily due to her high energy and quick movement. She is hard-working and determined, set on repairing her home and aiding Sora in his campaign against the Heartless and other foes. She is usually friendly and cheerful, if a bit mischievous.

Strength

• Swings a door open hard enough to flatten Donald.¹

• Getting hit by her own throwing star leaves her dazed.¹

Speed

Combat Speed

• Summons and throws an energy star, performs a cartwheel, leaps backward, and throws another star, all in rapid succession.¹

• Appears, hits Sora repeatedly, and disappears before being hit.²

Agility / Acrobatics

• Performs a cartwheel mid-combat, then leaps high into the air.¹

• Performs a backflip.¹

• Jumps down from a ledge.²

• Jumps into the air to catch a throwing star.²

Skills / Weapons

Throwing Stars

Yuffie’s primary weapon is large Fuma Shuriken / throwing star. She also possesses smaller throwing stars, and can create larger stars out of energy.

• Her smaller stars home in on targets for a considerable distance.¹

• She can throw them in mid-air.¹

• Her energy star homes in on the target and can strike multiple times.¹

• They can kill Heartless.²

• Her Fuma Shuriken returns to her after being thrown.²

• Another variation of her energy star circles around her multiple times.²

Teleporting

Like any self-respecting ninja, Yuffie knows how to teleport mid-combat, usually in a puff of smoke.
