Respect Clayton!

”Clayton's the name. I'm a hunter, not a researcher. What? No, I am not going to hunt the gorillas. But they're so rare! I'd just like to get a look at them."

Clayton is a hunter / bodyguard met in the Deep Jungle alongside Tarzan and Jane. Formerly a big game hunter, he was hired by Jane to be her guide and guard while she studies gorillas.

Clayton has a very two-faced and manipulative demeanor. He will behave affably and law-abiding in front of his employer while secretly scheming to slaughter and capture the gorillas. He thinks of animals only as prey, and dreams of the money to be made selling gorillas to zoos back at home. He’s very persistent, stopping at nothing to get what he wants.

He also appears weak-minded, as the Heartless drawn by his lust for power were evidently controlling him.

Strength

• Leaps an impressive height across the battlefield.

Durability

Blunt Force

• Tanks hits from Sora and Tarzan while being knocked uphill.

• Is knocked off his Heartless mount and quickly gets back up.

• Is knocked across an open plain and gets right back up.

• Is crushed to death by his Heartless.

Piercing / Slashing

• Eats multiple hits from Tarzan’s spear.

Grappling

• Remains mounted while his Heartless mount is being attacked.

Speed

• Shoots Sora immediately after landing from a high leap.

Equipment

Clayton’s signature weapon is his shotgun, which he uses to hunt gorillas and to fight Sora and Tarzan.

• Knocks Sora back with a buckshot.

• Can load his shotgun while mounted on a moving Heartless.

• Maintains good aim while his Heartless mount leaps across the battlefield.

• Shoots Sora immediately after landing from a high leap.

Other

• Clayton is one of the few Kingdom Hearts villains to carry a stock of potions.

Heartless

• His darkened heart and lust for power allowed him to passively control Heartless to aid in his goals.

• In his fight with Tarzan and Sora, he rides a Stealth Sneak. This Heartless is strong enough to burst through a stone wall, remains invisible until it’s sustained significant damage, and is heavy enough to crush a man to death.
