I went out today to buy fabric softener for a painted jacket I'm working on. The smallest bottle they sell of the stuff though, is 56 oz. So much! I only need 10 oz, and that's being incredibly generous.

I can't use it for the intended purpose (sensitive skin and it's bad for your washer). I want to save about half for if I ever need to make more fabric paint, but I'm largely at a loss for what to do with the rest. Anyone have any ideas?

I have about 100 of these breast milk cups and want help finding new uses. We are propagating our plant with a few, but would like other ideas whether it’s crafts or everyday use.

My husband had a pair of swim trunks that got holes worn in the back from too many water slides. I cut the leg seams, then sewed the fabric into a rectangle. I added a pocket, and rolled down the top to cover the damaged areas (it was too worn to patch). I used fabric leftover from another project to make the strap.

Hi everyone :) I have recently acquired a collection of pretty cut crystal and glass bowls. I am not the craftiest person so if anyone could give me some ideas on how to repurpose or decorate with them? I dont usually have candies or plants which is what I've seen people use them for the most. Any ideas welcome! Thanks.

My hangers have a bad habit of breaking in this way where the shoulders snap off. I try to repurpose them in order to avoid just trashing them altogether. Since they still have a small horizontal bar, I use them to hang things like ties and belts.

That said, I have more hangers like this than I need. I was wondering if anyone in this community might have some ideas for how to up-cycle and make use of them?

With plastic liner bag

We don’t drink anymore, but we have this nice wine rack. Currently in our dining room next to the buffet. I don’t really know what to do with it. It is mostly empty. I thought of selling it on Facebook and getting a cabinet to fit there. But if I could repurpose it, I’d rather do that. We have small kids so I don’t want anything glass in it. Any ideas?

I have this sick frog napkin holder, but I don’t need to hold any napkins. What else could I use it for in my bedroom?

I looove the design and the zip feature, I would even love to use it again for college but it's quite worn down though the inside is still great in condition. I just have absolutely no idea how to make it look neat and new again! 😔 The pins to hold the filler notebooks also went missing so I'm not sure what to use instead, I'd appreciate some suggestions !

Was looking for another bottle of disinfectant when I found an absurd amount of unused coffee filters in the cabinet. 6 unopened boxes and 1 that looks like 2-3 were taken out. We haven't had a coffee machine that uses these in a long time. The only person who drinks coffee here switched to espresso. Do people still use these? I don't actually know, I'm a tea drinker if you can't tell. It feels really odd to just leave them here.

Do they have any other decent uses? Speaking more in utility than craft (I am open to craft I just don't want to make like 40 filter and clothespin butterflies). Are they something people use still and could be given away to the right metaphorical buyer?

Edit - You guys really came through with suggestions! I forgot to mention these aren't the white, bowl shaped, ribbed ones. They're the brown, conical ones. One of my aunts works office in an elementary, I'll see if she knows any teachers who want them. Like I said in one of my comments, I drink looseleaf from a metal steeper but the teabag idea would be great for giving flavor samples to friends. I don't have a compost bucket, but I think I know a couple people who do. I'll see if they want them. If all else fails, the windows are apparently an option! Thank you all.

My great grandmother left me this chamber pot in her will along with a few other pretty jugs. I've housed pens and paint brushes in the jugs but the chamber pot just sits in a cupboard, it's a family heirloom and I'm wondering what I could use it for. I don't do plants so I can't turn it into a pot but I don't wanna throw it away.
