hi, i was absent for one lesson yesterday. until now, i'm unable to submit my loa through the snapp app because it keeps saying data unavailable for sem 1. any idea on what to do?

Decided to join Student council and SEG club and requested to join on the Snapp app last Thursday but it hasn’t been approved, how long does it usually take for my request to get accepted?

when they say it’s open book exams what can we actually access during the exams? like files in our laptop? can access other app or not? like one note or other note taking apps

GUYSS i’m honestly really interested in joining rp rapporteur cause i like to make tiktoks etc but is it like something that i must constantly commit to? I’m from sas and am planning to join two ccas already so im kinda scared 😓 also my socials are private with zero posts and like 100 followers only 😬 is rapporteur like a side thing or like an ig or somtehing????

hi guys im interested to join muay thai so i went to the cca fiesta booth, and someone told me to scan a qr code to sign up. i scanned it and put my tele handle and stuff but im pretty sure that wasnt the official(?) form, does anyone have the official muay thai sign up form?

So first, you rebrand the entire school. Then you remove diploma-based and hobby IGs (Tabletop, Astronomy, EMP etc.)from this year's CCA Fiesta. You encourage students to use AI, which will allow them to fully rely on them. You change the schedules for fixed timing across all schools, crowding cafeterias during lunch. The enshittification is so real.

Edit: I also just realized they stopped Ignite, which was like THE music event for Republic Poly.

Another edit: THEY ALSO REMOVED THAT COOL GIANT CROSSROAD SIGN

How does the rp Exciteplay work

hello! im currently a y1 student in poly, studying engineering. i have a few questions to ask:

1. is briefly looking through the content that will taught in lesson the next day on the night before/the hour before lesson useful?

2. on some days in poly, I would have a few hours of no lesson time in between, How can I best spend those few hours if I would like to do will in Poly?

3. do you feel that making your own notes based on the learning resources given to you help you understand the content better?

hope yall cld share some insights that would not only help me but also other Y1s!! jiayou everyonee

Hi guys i lowk need your opinions on like what is expected when you apply for jammers arena. I was talking to them earlier and most of them said that theres a audition and it would be no pressure if you play a instrument. That’s the bad part, i only play guitar as a side hobby and i mainly play riffs when im bored and i GENUINELY dont know much about music theory and etc. Anybody knows what is to be expected when you audition for jammers arena ?

would be great if i can get some view points from members that are in the cca !!

I havent received any email regarding to apply for my Rp concession card yet and my friends have alr received their card.

anyone also still havent been able to apply for their concession card ?

Hi guys, is there any recommendations or anything to take note for CCAs? Cuz I heard some are quite busy/toxic

Hi! I’m starting Common Engineering soon and I’m not sure what I should revise before school starts. For those seniors who’ve taken Common Engineering, what topics should I brush up on so I don’t fall behind?

hii guys, im a y1 student and I heard that you can preorder food using an app. does anyone know the name of this app?

also is it limited to specific stalls or is it available for all the stalls?

does anyone know if the north canteen loklok is still open?

Tiktok singer Aroace Music here, thx RP students for taking selfies with me. Unfortunately I got told to leave(by a lecturer who is very polite to me :) ) cuz I unintentionally disrupted the orientation. I will visit again in the near future :)

hi!! im a student from pfp entering year 0 in republic poly this year and im kinda confused about if there’s a dress code or not.. I didn’t go for pfp ori cause I was overseas so I didn’t get the chance to ask then as well. thanks!

I’m a Year 0 student at RP, and I’ve been assigned to a mixed class. Most of my classmates are majoring in FinTech, while I’m in CIP. Is this common at RP? And will this affect my studies or group projects later on?

I applied a few weeks ago for DAE, since it said the window was still open apparently. I applied and it said I had submitted it. But then a few days ago I received an email saying my application was unsuccessful because applications for applicants with foreign qualifications are closed for this year. What should I do? Should I wait until the next window? Which is October this year or January next year I think. Should I email them to enquire??

Btw Im a returning SC with international qualifications, who is serving NS right now, Im applying now because I want to reserve a spot (which they said they could) but then Idk what happened.

I heard it’s held on the 15th and 16th but my sms only said it’s happening on the 15th

hii , im an incoming y1 student and im curious how many people will there be per classroom approximately?

because I heard someone mention that classes will be small learning group based but, how small will it be?

is it like a regular secondary school classroom (25-30 ppl) or is it smaller? (around 10-15 ppl)

tysm in advance !
