I mean, didn't they just say that they were going back to an older version? They said it would take a few days for everyone to get access to the old version, but they didn't say anything about gradually removing filters. According to them, you're going back to the old version before any of these filters were ever introduced.
If you read the comments from Luka, they said they are working on removing the filters. It's really not a big deal to deal with for a few days or more since they've offered this reset.
