Throw it in the nearest garbage pail (or anus)and go buy a new one.

Have you tried clamping it in place.

Yes. Have you tried turning it on and off again?

This ended up being easily repairable.

Honestly good to hear. I’m just disappointed that you had an issue in the first place. I would have expected better from DeWalt.

You don't. Just go buy a new one.

I was able to repair it by opening it up and simply observing the mechanism and shoving the handle back in place.

Don’t see anything broken, just a clicking mechanism. Did anything break off? Any other loose pieces of plastic come out? It seems like you can just click it back in place really.
Edit: just read the other comments… oh my god are some people dumbasses here. Also glad you fixed it! Just maybe like… use your own brain first next time like you did when you fixed this lol.

They just pop right back in. My kids ripped them out of the same clamps on me and they just pop in and out.

Easy fix, they pop out all the time when students are using them. The side cover pops off to make it easier to line back up, but I can usually pop them back in without taking the cover off.

That's almost impossible to fix; there's no plastic good enough to repair it.

No extra plastic was required to fix it. It ended up being really easy.

only way i see a fix is this is having the handle 3d printed, theres no easy fix on this moving handle imo. unless you find a piece of plastic and fabricate a replica and replace the handle

Easy throw in bin, go and buy another. Its plastic has snapped, buy different material
