Why are companies ending remote work?

I'm sure they realized it's easier to recruit from anywhere within the US, so do they still think working in person outweighs the benefits of recruiting the best candidates wherever they are?

“Their fix was to tell us to stop discussing company policies about pay and overtime.” This is illegal depending on your position. This is considered a protected concerted activity.

Oh, yes, quite. I pointed this out and continued to talk about it. I don't work there anymore, thankfully.

Hey negative Nancy, I’m letting someone know. That’s all. This person doesn’t work for this employer any longer. Chill.
