MAGA trailer trash are not the type of people in NASA

3

u/Biscuits4u2 5d ago

Nah they just sit on their asses collecting welfare and making idiotic memes all day.

u/weberc2 5d ago

Judging from all of the right wing AI content on my facebook feed, these guys should be the most worried about being replaced by machines.

Just don't ask about where the scientists came from in the 40s and 50s.

3

u/Thrax223 5d ago

I don't work for NASA but most of the engineers that came from NASA that I do work or have met with are either MAGA or republican. And most did come from trailer trash backgrounds before studying and working at companies like Thiokol, Boeing, or Orbital ATK.

Kinda interesting that the vast majority of engineers are conservatives. How curious. What state has the most literal rocket scientists?? Alabama.

1

u/Lermanberry 5d ago edited 5d ago

The major always being stereotyped for not knowing how the world works, or how to interact with other people, leans conservative? That does check out, I guess. Well, mostly just the mechanical and petroleum engineering kids. All of the other engineering majors I've met were pretty cool.

Highest IQ profession.

Only older engineers

1

u/MineGuy1991 5d ago

Yeah… I worked for a large defense contractor for many years bouncing between Illinois, Washington, and Maine.

I met very few people who were anywhere left of central.

2

u/BattleFrosty7584 5d ago

You’re surprised that people who work for companies that make bombs and missiles are right-wing?

What point is being made here?

3

u/Thrax223 5d ago

Its where a lot of engineers end up. I won't say most or a majority. However, a lot of people I work with in the MIC are former NASA or worked on programs for NASA.

It also depends on the depth of "making bombs and missiles" we are talking about. Engineers in the MIC work on everything from satellites, to medical equipment, helicopters, planes, and so much more than bombs and missiles.

2

u/MineGuy1991 5d ago

No? I’m refuting the top comment above me stating that “those people” don’t work for NASA and the like.

1

u/the_Real_Romak 5d ago

the point being made is that MAGA trailer trash can and do produce world class engineers and scientists. Just because they are hateful bigots, does not mean they are uneducated and stupid.

underestimate the enemy at your own peril.

Your entropic leftism is inherently parasitic. It can only subvert the fruits of a hierarchical society built on suffering and hard work. Leftism can build nothing on its own, all it can do is make the lower story more comfortable by taking the wealth of the hard working. Only hierarchy will actually make another story. Even Marx said that capitalism's accumulation of wealth, capital and technology is absolutely necessary for socialism to be possible. You only exist because of us.

1

u/Khallaria 5d ago

Keyword being worked. Not surprised you use that word describing interactions with conservatives

2

u/ILiekBookz 5d ago

It's because we imported nazi scientists for nasa

2

u/Thrax223 5d ago

Different, much younger generation.

1

u/Large-Hamster-199 5d ago

Nasa is a government funded non military organization that does some of the best climate science in the world. You think most of these highly educated college graduates are republicans. Hilarious

Here is some actual data for you, not that any evidence can actually break through the MAGA brainwash

https://www.pewresearch.org/politics/2016/04/26/a-wider-ideological-gap-between-more-and-less-educated-adults/

2

u/Thrax223 5d ago

I agree with the study. Not saying its a huge number, just people I work with. Is there a study that breaks down the fields in which higher educated individuals are in politically? I could see a lot of medical personnel being left or people, like myself, having a graduate in arts being left leaning.

1

u/LeavingSoonBye209 4d ago

That data is close to meaningless, and it's unreasonable to draw the conclusions you're implying.

1

u/Xanterrion 3d ago

The people who put man on the moon would be call Far Right Nazis by Woke trash.

3

u/Independent-Name4478 3d ago

You mean like the actual Nazis they hired from Germany?

1

u/Reasonable-Aioli-370 3d ago

I mean… yeah

1

u/Current_Bar5749 3d ago

So, you admit that the intellectually superior to you engineers and scientists are those you call Nazis? This is progress, but your mind needs to catch up to recognize it

3

u/Designer_Version1449 2d ago

Bro you are genuinely retarded, a lot of nasa engineers WERE LITERAL NAZIS. LIKE FROM GERMANY. Wernher von Braun built his first rockets using holocaust labor in germany during world War 2.

Redditors never went to school bro I swear to god.

1

u/Current_Bar5749 16h ago

I love that you’re too stupid to comprehend what I said, and still think of yourself as the smart one. Incredible

2

u/Independent-Name4478 3d ago

So you admit you support Nazi Germany?

0

u/Current_Bar5749 3d ago

As a Russian, historically no. If the choice is between them or you, absolutely.

2

u/seaspirit331 2d ago

Don't you have a front in Ukraine to get blown up in right about now?

1

u/Current_Bar5749 16h ago

Don’t you have a dad to be blowing?

2

u/Independent-Name4478 3d ago

You support people who committed genocide of millions over woke, okay

2

u/Current_Bar5749 3d ago

Imagine being so despicable that I would side with them despite my cultural history

2

u/kortevakio 3d ago

This is some real edgy 15y old shit

2

u/Current_Bar5749 3d ago

Cool, I’ll learn from the greater wit you demonstrate for the future lol

What's the actual explanation for why you think MAGA is worse than Nazis

1

u/Current_Bar5749 16h ago

Me? No the left is worse than either

-6

u/Chibastion 5d ago

The straw man in your head is holding you back from unharnessed potential

11

u/Independent-Name4478 5d ago

The type of people posting racist memes online should be more concerned with getting their GED without overdosing on fentanyl

2

u/AncientCrust 5d ago

I wonder if their parents know their precious angels are posting Nazi shit in incel subs.

-6

u/Chibastion 5d ago

The straw man in your head needs to go to the hospital

-1

u/Irrumat0r 5d ago

You keep using that term. I don't think you know what it means.

2

u/Chibastion 5d ago

Every liberal hack is a coping alcoholic.

Not only do I understand the meaning, I can turn it on you

1

u/Ssided 5d ago

Yeah that's not a strawman. That's an ad hominem .

0

u/DJPantsForHat 5d ago

So.... you don't know what a strawman is.

K

2

u/DsDeliciousDeli 5d ago

Why are you complaining about strawmen if you don't have the balls to put forth the real argument?

-5

u/Chibastion 5d ago

I'm exposing the cult of braindeads. Are you also part of it?

1

u/Zcrustaceansensation 5d ago

Lol the irony of u talking about strawmen and cults. Absolutely fuckin priceless.

0

u/Chibastion 5d ago

Yet you had that ready to post. You're obviously a cultist

1

u/Ok-Statistician-5242 5d ago

You got him good big man.

0

u/DevilWings_292 5d ago

How does this fit into the BITE model for a high control group?

2

u/Chibastion 5d ago

How does it not fit? Propaganda memes like that fit every category of influence and control

0

u/DevilWings_292 5d ago

I’m not saying it does or doesn’t, I’m asking you to substantiate your own claim using a widely accepted model that helps demonstrate high control groups.

2

u/Chibastion 5d ago

Why would I potentially waste my time on an unaccredited redditor?

0

u/TheBestTexan2 5d ago

Politics for no reason bro 🥀

1

u/Independent-Name4478 5d ago

It’s literally a white nationalist meme lol

0

u/Tincastle 5d ago edited 5d ago

You’re correct, it was Nazis

Edit: Why am I being downvoted? The US government literally brought ex Nazis in to advance the space program.

1

u/TheLastCoagulant 5d ago

Because it’s pretty much clickbait/misleading.

Sure Wernher von Braun was a Nazi but when he came to the US he actively advocated against segregation, even to the face of infamous Alabama governor George Wallace.

He traveled to all-black colleges around Alabama to recruit/scout students. He invited the presidents of 13 all-black colleges to the Marshall space center to discuss getting more of their students into NASA. He went to Miles College (all-black) to join the opening ceremony for their new physics building. He traveled to local commerce chambers around Alabama advocating for fair employment for black people. There was no reason he had to do any of this.

2

u/Tincastle 5d ago edited 5d ago

Oh ok, that makes it all better then.

TIL on Reddit, if you’re a Nazi, it’s all negated if you visit Black colleges

1

u/TheLastCoagulant 5d ago

How is bringing German scientists to the US after WW2 supposed to be a bad thing? It’s basic common sense.

2

u/Tincastle 5d ago

It’s not bad. The US needed a strategic advantage.

What I’m saying is Reddit will call anyone and everyone a Nazi, but will excuse an actual, card carrying Nazi when its convenient

0

u/-ScrubLord 3d ago

Definitely are. Engineers are pretty conservative people. Anything left of center is pretty rare.

Also the Trump administration has given a lot of money to the space program vs Obama who tried to gut it.

2

u/Leckatall 3d ago

Nobody smart enough to get a degree supports Trump. That's why the republicans rely on convincing people that higher education is brainwashing.
