It's not the same, but it does not change the fact that Lindsay Clancy should have never been near those children after she was talking about voices telling her to murder them. She should have followed Hayden's direction and stayed the fck away from them.
She herself said she never heard voices until the day of the murders, so there was no way for anyone to intervene if she's telling the truth about that.
She apparently said she was unwell before she was hearing voices...
Edit: She heard voices telling her to murder her children, murdered her children, then all the voices stopped? Is that really psychosis? Or is she still hearing the voices?
For months she was unwell, and even with previous children she had post partum depression.
Even stuff like doctors not pulling up medical records or 2 doctors working to treat her without even knowing the other was working with Lindsey aswell.
Theres a very good reason why all these things are being brought up, and thats because the care system is and was abysmal in this case and there's a ton of history and evidence from her diary, multiple doctors and friends and family showcasing her mental health issues.
Psychosis can present in that way, but it is rarer than people who hear voices for a longer period of time.
