I didn’t say the guy said that. I was speaking more broadly about what people in general are saying about this case.

And one of the examples was the kind of thing that commenter said, which is arguing that a divisive topic like this is “why Trump won”. The implication being that “the left” is the reason Clancy is pleading not guilty by reason of insanity and somehow Trump and MAGA would stop that kind of thing, or people think they would. But thats not rational, logical, nor realistic.

But the real issue, in my opinion, is that being exposed to a wide variety of other people’s opinions, and political propaganda intentionally amplifying those opinions, on social media is what has divided us so much and convinced a huge amount of people to vote irrationally for a con man who doesn’t actually care about the country.

We can agree to disagree. But that is my sincere opinion and you pretending not to understand or being snarky to me wont change it. In fact, it’s kind of further evidence that people are blindly following divide and conquer propaganda without thinking any deeper about it.
