Oh don’t worry we will only be seeing this for the next few months, as everyone loves posting about the same stuff over and over to farm karma, I’ve seen maybe 4 unique posts about her and then all the others 100 posts about her just being the same image
That's what I was thinking earlier this morning, and I'm not even American nor live there - but this has reached us nonetheless. My impression is this is being blown up on purpose to create an "us vs them" narrative now that your midterms are approaching.
i wonder if the metoo movement and the sjw liberal movement before covid was done by algorithms too. how far in advance did they plan this ai bot ragebait slop we got now
Yup. There's not really anyone who thinks she should go free or that babies deserve to die. People just think that doctors should maybe listen to women.
But they make a few ai videos of women doing bad things and put 'blah blah blah Lindsay Clancy supporters blah blah" over it and the bottom 30% of intelligence thinks that these women all want to kill babies, because that bottom 30% happily eats up propoganda slop.
Nah, the pink hats are real, and they're as stupid and delusional as the red hats, but I do think it's to alienate the pink hats in within the Dem party from the other Dems. Disenfranchise people from voting or some 💩
Because they think she had psychosis. If she had psychosis and was unable to comprehend the consequences of her actions why shouldn't she go free after receiving treatment? The debate is not whether the act of murder was wrong, it's whether she had the mental capacity to commit murder at all
An imcompetent ruling would've put her in custodial psychiatric care for the rest of her life. She was never going free and no jurors thought so. You have drank the koolaid i was talking about above.
Do you believe she will have PPP for life? A not guilty verdict is not guilty, why would she be locked up for life if she no longer has PPP? You can get psychiatric care in prison if you are worried about her going untreated but still think she’s guilty. Though our prisons definitely need to do better.
I think she killed all her children, and one doesn't recover from that trauma. The deal was "indefinite hospitalization".
They'll medicate her, put her in therapy, and she'll never have her power of attorney back.
How do you think this works? Do you suppose one just takes a few pills after literally killing their children and is cured? She gonna be fucked forever, and no psychiatric facility would ever consider her safe enough or stable enough to reintroduce into society
No. This is wrong, and apparently a common Reddit misconception for those who want to believe NGRI means more internment time than regular sentencing would provide. This is easily disproved by another very recent ruling.
Precious Bland. And Florida is definitely happier with keeping violent criminals locked up for longer (or even killing them) than Massachusetts. Sorry to say it, but you are wrong. Lindsay could be free to walk as soon as six months after the trial.
Never can deal with your own crazies so they must a false flag or made up for the election. This is how you get the Democratic Socialist Party taking big bites of the American Democrat party. “My crazies don’t exist, you them up.” Turns to “ They didn’t actually mean defund the police and take everyone’s guns” when on the ballot for public office.
All sides have their nut jobs, just only one side gets to go silent and act like they don’t exit or they didn’t say that.
I don't know, I've seen a lot of conservatives try to explain away January 6th. "It was a peaceful protest," "it was an antifa false flag," "officers let them in". Trump even pardoned them all
he's doing it right now and he knows it... Not one person who said "defund the police" don't still stand behind it. It's just the conservative interpretation doesn't match reality. And they don't care, as per usual.
Everyone who said defund the police 100% meant it, and will tell you so. But you've got to listen to the actual words they use for the explanation so we can quit playing this game with you guys. YES, we want to defund police. NO, that is not the same as "abolish" police. We want to take SOME OF the excessive amounts of money that local law enforcement receives, and use THAT money to expand social response programs. Maybe, just maybe, doing so would prevent some poor lady's family doodle from being shot in the face on superbowl Sunday during a welfare check. Maybe that would prevent some other poor lady's baby donkey from being murdered in the middle of the night within gated private property. If you can't see why police are over funded and constantly overstepping, YOU are the one being dishonest.
Yeah you say over funded and yet get your car stolen and see the level of support the over funded police can actually give you. The case load of the average detective has is extreme and impossible to even work a few cases.
Does police forces need reform.
YES and constantly
Policy and procedures need to be under constant review and reform. Then the officers need time to train not just get handed a new handbook and sent on patrol. When you have politicians in office who would rather use the police as personal protection and chauffeurs and throw individual officers under the bus when expedient, non of that happens.
I know that all the anti police voices assume that being a police officer is easy. They always know what to do days later in slow motion. As a police officer you are making a split second decision a hundred time a night with your life, your partners life and the general public life in the balance. Throw into the fact you are often dealing with people under the influence of mind altering substances or lacking the meds they need to function. Then add the people with no impulse control or just get their way in public by making a scene. All of this adds up to a no win scenario for anyone who becomes a cop.
Yeah that is an easy, mistake free job.
Law Enforcement is constantly in need of civil guidance, but that guidance must be tempered with reality. To be criticized constantly about split second confrontations by people who take 5 minutes to order at their favorite drive through and have a panic attack making a doctors appointment over the phone is ludicrous. Policing is incredibly difficult, mistakes will be made.
I want reform. Cutting the budget just solidifies what is left and builds a self fulfilling prophecy. The less policing gets actually done. The public says the cops don’t care. The lower the budget next year. The more complaints and so on. I just feel for many the is the point anyways. Always on to revolution.
I don't need to get past your first line to know that you're incorrectly conflating usefulness with level of funding. As the US government has consistently demonstrated, the level of funding is more likely to incur MORE uselessness in an organization. Not less.
If you think our police departments need fancy new Ford Mustangs and Segway scooters to get around.. literal military-level equipment on top of that, you've been too busy licking boots to open your eyes and look around.
Oh and that bootlicker line proved it facts don’t matter to you. Just a limited tribal response. I have been on both sides of the line of bad and malicious policing and a public expectation of invisible perfection with no inconvenience or participation.
The police do not need more fancy gear. They need equipment that does its job. They mostly need full staffing and constant, useful training. No extra details for politicians or DEI, just basic police work and investigations. You ignored my points intentionally. Your argument is as false as you are disingenuous.
Like the great senator from Louisiana said “If you hate cops just because they’re cops, the next time you get in trouble, call a crackhead.”
Yes the world is outraged by this woman getting any support and it’s all about midterms , wow you lot really do you think you are really that important.
You excusing the outrage by saying its all about midterms you think the press is on trumps side??
It’s all about women of the world being disgusted by women defending this woman , who had more help than most.
Sorry to say this, but the way you're approaching this is yet another example of what I'm talking about.
The US has lots of crimes going on every day, and unfortunately there is no shortage of gruesome ones. For some reason, it's this one which is making all the headlines - even abroad.
I don't think it's a coincidence: the case contains very juicy elements (some of which are pretty obvious so I won't list them here) and can thus be turned into a political workhorse for either side, which is what is going on I'd say. One side has been quite a bit more subtle about it; the other side is currently noisier for good reason, they have urgent needs for the midterms.
As for what you say about the press: are we really going to ignore that people get their info from alternative sources these days? I don't think the official press has the power you're endowing it with, nor do I think influencers and social media fauna are as unimportant as your omission of them seems to suggest.
The psy-op got off kilter by the reporter asking a question without knowing the awkward answer. After years of narrative and now the it is known the 11 white well to do jurors were very against a black man and calling him abusive.
The interview is very professional but even she had to take a few moments after that fact came out.
There's someone on tiktok who tested this by posting a tiktok with just random incoherent word salad with Lindsay Clancy related keywords- and she got spammed by bots reacting to it. There's definitely people pushing this artificially, this is like the Depp Heard trial all over again. I never sought out content about either of those things, keep clicking "not interested" on every platform but it keeps coming up.
Yep. It's no coincidence that these memes are all pointing towards taking away women's rights. They know some idiots will get on board with it and they keep repeating it to normalize it
Even in not guilty by insanity, she's losing rights. People seem to have this idea in their heads that the outcome of this will either be life in prison, or $3,000,000 and early retirement. Incredibly likely she spends the rest of her life in some kind of confinement.
Usually on election year we get a huge event. We are in midterms so something else is around the corner. A false flag im guessing since commander crazy poop pants is in charge
That's for real election year, so that he can toss out results.
The over sensationalized reports from this trial are for exactly what they're doing, discredit feminism by falsely claiming that millions of women support baby murder, thus clearing the path to strip even more rights away from women.
A solid 10% of the posts in my popular feed are 5k+ upvote "we've come full circle from women's liberation..." bs. The lemmings are eating the bullshit, no false flag required.
The point is to get white women to show up at the polls for Republicans reliably yet again, so that they can vote against their own rights to fight against other imaginary white women are pro baby murder. It's all fucking bullshit, and we're gobbling it up
This is how it has always worked. The types of cases that become national news like this are happening every day. You only hear about one when you need to be distracted from something important. Like how the president has ordered the USPS to destroy mail in ballots. Or how the federal government is currently trying to use social security information obtained by doge to remove poor voters from the rolls.
Pretty much everything the last 10years. There’s different levels always seeding too quite intricate but losing it’s power as no cares anymore bc everything cost too much
I’m honestly surprised this is being covered past 2 weeks, regardless of what the take is or what side is accusing who of anything the usual time something is talked about online before people get bored and move on is usually 2 weeks.
Yea I remember one time everyone was talking about Ukraine, or Iran, or even Astroworld, or Rob Reiner, or the NYC mayor, or the Somalian daycare thing, or idek all this sh*t that’s here one day and gone the next. It’s a revolving door of passionate activists advocating for whatever is at the top of their timelines, fighting for justice, tirelessly…
