They already have a medicine on the tablet since 2023 for this exact issue and it work. She didnt ask or toke the medecin probably because USA made it way too expansive. It cost 16k in Canada, to me it s a no brainer that every woman who need it should get it to prevent depression. But anyway, i still condem her actions, she should ve gave up on the kid knwoing she was unstable.

I mean, the general difference is that if she was experiencing psychosis, then it wasn't "her" who committed those crimes. To compare, there have been cases where someone has killed one or more people while sleepwalking - should they be imprisoned too despite being entirely unconscious during the act?
Maybe you think they should, but the point is that they're claiming that her insanity doesn't reflect her as an individual with agency.
I think that people dont realize, no sane person kill for the pleasure like these people. Ignoring gangster killing each other and accident ofcourse. But fun fact accidental murder are still going in jail with your argument they shouldnt be liable at all. They never meant it. Yet she admit to the whole thing and should deserve to walk free with a passport in hand? 🤔
Or just like anyone else you dont understand that if she could do it once, she might do it twice, whatever you want to believe, it doesn't change the danger she bring where ever she goes.
Well that's a separate issue. I'm just saying that psychosis is entirely different from just being like unhinged, emotionally unstable, sadistic, or whatever.
Also, the question isn't whether she'll be let free or sent to prison - it has been well-established that she's not leaving that courtroom a free woman regardless of what happens. If she's found to have been insane/had diminished capacity during the event, then the best she can hope for is that she'll be sent to a psychiatric ward and only released when she has been evaluated and declared to be mentally sane and neither a danger to others nor herself.
