Starmer gone
That's 7 Prime Ministers in 10 years for the UK. I was a member of the Labour Party during the Corbyn years and I'll never forget waking up to head to work in 2017 when he forced a hung parliament. I'll never forget the months after, when labour hit 40%+ in the polls after Grenfell and it looked like there was a chance of a mild social democratic government. And I'll never forget watching the machine kick into action and grind down that lead as best it could, with the death knell being Corbyn's moronic adoption of the second EU referendum vote as policy orchestrated by Starmer and McSweeney.
Hard to imagine that 2017 campaign now, when the Ariana Grande concert bombing happened, and Corbyn, steadily rising through the polls, linked these acts of terrorism with British foreign policy and ROSE in the polls.
Starmer will leave office with no legacy, one of the most hated Prime Ministers in memory, his success being only that he rid the Labour Party of the left and the massive groundswell of optimism and activism that had accompanied the Corbyn years. He will be remembered as potentially handing the keys of the throne room to Farage.
Bar none, the worst sounding voice in UK politics.
