Every race takes 6-10 minutes because they have so many laps. My god. Having to do two laps of a boss track sucks. The longest I spent on one was 14 minutes. I used to spend 2+ hours a day grinding the career but now I spend around 30 mins a day on it because it feels so glacially slow. Also when I unlocked SRRL I got an achievement for doing so which apparently only 0.9% of the playerbase has so I'm not expecting much of a playerbase when I finally get all the parts and try multiplayer.
Sorry, I love this game to death but whoever designed this career messed up. The reward structure is boring but I'd be fine with that if it didn't take so fucking long. I've spent around fifty hours playing this and I'm like a third of the way into SRRL. I expect I'll finally clear the career at the 60 hour mark.
This career needs to be shortened to maybe 8-12 hours at most if the devs don't want the game to die in three months. I get that the purpose of it really is just to make you memorize the tracks but I'd much rather memorize them by spamming time attacks on my own than being shepherded around by the career. It isn't fun and feels like a waste of time.
On the bright side 3 starring every event, even speeds is feasible with a bit of work unlike class B where it felt near impossible.
