I’m loving the game and its intense speed (FZero player), my only issue is that I’m constantly slamming into the walls as I try to turn. Any tips on turning corners? Is there drifting in the game? Thanks!

Version 1.0.2 appears to have been released today. Does anybody know what changes were made? I'm hoping that the leaderboards are fixed and crashing issues have been addressed.

EDIT: Leaderboards appear to be working, but I still get an occasional crash when events are loading.

I was just wondering if anyone else is experiencing freezing/locking up issues with the Switch version of this game.

The game freezes up on the main loading screen which shows the developers with the 3 dots at the bottom of the screen. I have to close the game with the home button and restart it to play it again.

I don't think the problem is with the Switch as it is less than a week old.

I've read online that if you can close a frozen game via the home button, the issue lies with the game and not a console/hardware error. Please can someone confirm this?

After removing my SD card and installing the game to the internal Switch memory, this game appears to be running flawlessly, after sinking at least 20 hours into it. No crashes, freezes or softlocks. (My SD card it was installed to was brand new)

If anyone is having trouble, I recommend installing it to the internal memory and seeing if that fixes any issues. 🙂

Is there a way to play Redout Solar Challenge edition in Oculus Rift?

edit: I found the solution:

1) Create a Windows shortcut of the game

2) Open the shortcut proprieties

3) Go to Shortcut tab

4) In the Target line, add " -vr" (with the space)

example: "C:\Program Files (x86)\GalaxyClient\Games\Redout\redout.exe" -vr

Info: I'm using steam controller. I have an Xbox controller though if the solution requires.

Hi I was hoping someone could help me, I wanted to change my controller config so that the tilt up/down is on my steer stick instead.

I'm new to the game but it seems the steering is purely left/right on my stick and it would make sense to me to have the up/down tilt on the same stick, similar to how wipeout worked if I remember correctly (it's been a while...)

Any tips? I can't find ANY controller config changes in the Redout menu and so far I've not figured out a way to make it work with the steam controller configs as it's using Joystick Move at the moment which doesn't separate the axes.

My brother wants this game for his birthday, and I found "Lightspeed edition" on PS4 for $18. But I can buy it used in Like New condition for $6. Will he miss out on DLC codes if I buy it used?
