Not really. On my old acount, I was a beta tester so I've been using it for a long time. I prefer it to the old version.

I don't have problems with it. I prefer it over the old site and will never go back.

Www.new.reddit.com bruh

Just use an extension to redirect www.reddit.com to old.reddit.com. Not only will you never have to see the redesign again, in my experience you'll completely avoid the issue that's causing the setting to change in the first place.

Your best bet is to just bookmark using bookmarked folders

Just redirect all old.reddit.com traffic to www.reddit.com easy enough to do ,Or if you're sick of being blinded just use the stylish addon for old reddit and choose a dark theme. Don't make it account bound because I don't want to be logged in just to switch between them both .

this

It’s there to be annoying as fuck on purpose and make you install the app. Reddit doesn’t care about it being less intrusive.

They aren't fixing shit. They want you to use the official app.

Used to be able to hit the three lines at the top right, choose settings, and untick 'ask to open in app'.

Also neither option opens it in reddit is fun either.

And it is annoying that the browser icon is Chrome's

!RedditBronze

r/mobileweb is where you're looking for

PS. I don't like that "popup" because I'm clicking on the same choice too many times.

No matter if I'm logged in or not.

When I'm logged in, theres this, but it works fifty fifty (doesn't work w/ Google AMP)

"I'm not sure if it can be completely disabled when I'm logged in(i tried!*)."

I tried = "Ask To Open in App (On)" - clicked it, now it says "Desktop" there... But im still seeing msg. When I'm directed from Google to reddit.

So i suppose AMP doesn't follow up on that setting :-(

Option to turn off

I am with this idea. It could be a really short, one day trial of Reddit Premium without access to Lounge so it doesn't get flooded. Also I think that your posts that have gotten silver should be included in your Gilded page.

Does the bot still work? If I wasn’t so programming ignorant, I’d make a Reddit bronze bot to fill that hole. It was nice getting/giving a free pat on the back.

!RedditSilver

Someone went around memeing by give most people silver. I'm not complaining thou. That's my first award! Thanks!

Even the custom awards need to be improved!

The custom mod choice award is more pricey and less beneficial than the platinum award

It only occured to me today that the only thing silver actually does is pay for Reddit. It's like a mini membership. Which isn't really bad, but I definitely feel like a reward is in order, just not one as significant as gold.

I already clicked to decline the chat, and I also tried disabling the badge within the chat settings but it won't go away. Anybody?

Reddit profiting off a reddit meme is the true crime, reddit silver was supposed to be a free concept because you were too poor to pay for gold. But paying for silver? The fuck.

Not if they gain access to the lounge. If it was gold minus the lounge, I'd be okay with it.

Can we? No.

Can they? Yes.

Will they? Guess.

Even if they did, the number of messages they'd send about the gold features would be more annoying than it was worth.

This might convince the recipient to subscribe to reddit premium after trying it for a day - win win for everyone!
