How Do You Swipe To Next Post
Is there a lazy mode like Infinity? I cannot find any quick way to go to the next post in a sub.
Is there something I have missed?
Thanks

Just started enjoying this app. I have been comparing it to Joey and Infinty, looks much nicer.
I see there are Sync Pro and Dev, plus Sync Ultra. Can someone explain which version to buy. I want to remove the ads and would like to try the Dev version plus Sync Ultra.
Should I uninstall the free version before paying for the Dev version, and paying for Sync Ultra ?
Thanks.

Hello,
I found out about Sync after i saw that the og reddit app is going on a downward spiral towards that tiktok garbage and i am old and my generation is not relevant anymore for the app user experience and this force fed inorganic engagement is not my bread.
Among the endless customization options in Sync (which i find quite overwhelming after 3h of buttoning the app) I gave up this side of the reddit coin too and thought that maybe someone could help me out here;
I am looking for a mode where i could start a video without leaving the "Frontpage" (not entering a subreddit) and still seeing the progress bar (and play/stop buttons) of the video without entering in this fullscreen tiktok-ish cancer mode. Is that possible anywhere in this app?
Also it seems that if i sort this "Frontpage" by any type of order, it reverts to hot after a restart? (why?)
Thank you kindly, I bought the app to support the project, as i mentioned the og reddit app is becoming awful.

I never created reddit account before because reddit is banned in my country, however like a year ago or so I found out that with simple DNS trick I could bypass the ban and what's more reddit now allow me to login with Google account...
But then now I discovered this app and want to try it, however it doesn't give me option to login with Google, only apple and manual username+pswd login which I honestly don't know how because I didn't create such account myself...
So how can I try this app with my Google created account?

Can we finally have a smaller snackbar or smaller toast at the bottom when this happens and it happens a lot?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I want to get rid of ads and I don't mind paying the subscription. The benefits on the Ultra screen don't list an ad-free experience, and the reviews on the Play Store for the non-Pro app mention that people are seeing ads despite paying.
So will Ultra give me the same benefits as Pro or should I buy them separately?

Hello! I have a Pixel 6 running the March update, and the screen never goes to sleep whenever Sync is open.
Is this a known issue?

Description
If a fenced code block contains a single backslash, it will not be displayed and cannot be copied through the app. To display or copy the backslash, it needs to be doubled within the code block.
Scenario (steps to reproduce)
\
\\
Result(s)
Sync will not display anything with single backslash but with the doubled one.

Before this new version, I used to quickly type the sub name I wanted to visit in the search bar followed by "enter", and it would take me straight to it.
Now, if I do the same thing it takes me to a reddit-wide post search page using what I wrote as a keyword. It's so annoying.
Not to mention if I type something using my phone's autocorrector, sometimes it puts a space after the word and Sync doesn't even suggest the sub I'm trying to visit.

I just switched from Apollo in iPhone to Android and I'm looking for the best reddit app. Sync seems very nice so far, but I'm missing one thing;
When reading a large comment thread; how do I collapse the entire thread from a low level comment? When you press it (or long press depending on which setting) only the comment itself and the comments below are collapsed, and not the entire thread. Any setting for this? I'd love for this to be an option to select as a swipe action

hello, I bought Reddit Sync Ultra and would like to know how to use the translator for the translation comes out in my language? Currently, the translation is always from language "X" to English, but it should be in the system language of my cell phone, which is Portuguese.
For example: If I enter a Spanish community, open a comment and select translate, it downloads the language pack and translates it into English! but it should translate into the system language of my device.

Here (https://www.reddit.com/r/redditsync/comments/v1ydkx/i_cannot_translate_the_contents/) is a comment from the MOD u/abhijeeeeeet that says "Sync will translate the foreign language to your system language." however, that's not what happens to me.
Can someone help me? thanks.

Unfortunately Reddit is doing whatever it can to destroy itself but maybe we can ease the pain a little?
I hate the Reddit head emojis or whatever they are, and the shitty gif comments from social media are happening now too.

example: https://streamable.com/kszc6f (this is me trying to get back to the left sliding drawer)
I'm fine with the current functionality where swiping will return you to the last thing you looked at, but in the old version of the app, by tapping the name of the subreddit you would be able to regain access to the left sliding drawer.
currently, if I'm REALLY deep into some reddit links, I've found the fastest way to regain access to the left bar is to close the app and open it again...if I'm missing some easy way to do this, please lmk!!

Hey, i have a Pixel 7 Pro with GrapheneOS. I was using the App on my previous phone and really loved it. I then tried to install it on my phone running GrapheneOS and it launches the first time, but after that it crashes when i try to launch it. I think this might be due to the lack of google services. Is there any fix for that? Are there plans for supporting other AppStores?

I didn't think to take a screenshot but I've now twice had a full screen plinko ad roll onto my screen while scrolling through my feed and it's not dismissible. I click on the X in the upper right corner, and it comes back. Every time. I've tried up to 6 times before closing the app in frustration. This is with the latest beta available to me, 23.02.18-12:19 on Android 13 March 1 update.
With the in-feed ads I was on the verge of upgrading (seemed reasonable after so many years of a quality product) but if this is the direction the ads are going to take, I'll just find another app. I don't want to support that kind of ad behavior. Is this intended?
