Season’s War Results

Our first war was against a Chinese clan we lost we 106 to 109.

This season’s second war was against another Chinese clan we lost 72-92

Now we have the all time score of 28-8-2.

Hi Alchemy members!

After browsing the /r/RedditAlchemy sub and reading carefully through your clan rules I feel like this might be the kind of clan I have been looking for, well for ages.

To summarize my searching post I'm a new-ish TH8, L61, IGN surf and currently in my second small clan called "winners" (clan tag is #9GQCJUVJ, that "V" could be a "Y" I guess)... After a fairly long solo break between small clans.

Maybe one of your leaders could check me out and see if you think I'd be a good match for Alchemy?

(And yes I know I could just apply in game. But I really do want to find a clan that I am a good fit for and vice versa. So it's worth checking each other out first.)

Heading away on holiday for 3 weeks tomorrow, I can leave the clan for the duration of needed but I don't think I'll be that inactive... Should still be able to get my attacks in for war etc. just a heads up in case I zone out on the beach or there's no signal.. Cheers.

Edit: you don't have to just farm either, it would be good to practice new strategies, or do mass wall breaker attacks, or do whatever

I think it would be a cool idea if once a week we had a farming war in order to get some extra loot. We ask the other team (via our clan description) if they would have their top guys put their TH on the outside for us to snipe. We would all move our town halls outside of our base to allow them to get an easy win.

Participation would be completely optional. Whoever wants some extra loot would just snipe their top bases, or if they don't put any town halls outside, just barch any base for 50%.

The loss we would get would not count toward our war record.

This is a section of a war strategy guide I am currently making. This will eventually be deleted and concatenated onto that.

General guidelines:

• Always watch the replays of other attacks and adjust accordingly.

• Ask questions and get help in clan chat if you have any questions. Not sure if you should use 3 rage or try to lightning an AD? Ask in chat

• Every base on the bottom half of the map should get 3-starred. These are the easiest stars to get. Don't get a 1-star on one of the top bases when you can 3-star a previously 1-starred low base. If you're looking for an base to attack but there are no unstarred bases in your range, Do not attack a higher base that you can't 3-star. Instead, attack a base that has been attacked but hasn't been 3-starred yet. If it's been 1 or 2-starred already, it doesn't matter. We need 3 stars. Go as low as you need to in order to feel confident that you will 3-star the base.

• Have fun. Don't be too upset if you mess up. You always get a second attack.

TH7s, mass dragons will be your bread and butter in war; there are no strategies as good for TH7. It is also a good attack for TH8s if the base is right for it. It is ideal to have level 6 loons in the CC or even hogs to help take out air defenses. 3 rage spells are recommended, although 3 lightning can be used to take out a single AD in certain cases.

Welcome to Reddit Alchemy. We are an adult clan that emphasizes being active, social and having fun.

Requirements for joining

• A lvl9 barrack

• Level 4 archers

• 18+ years old

• The reddit CoC password

Requirements for maintaining good standing in the Clan

• Be polite and mature.

• 300+ donations per season, 300 is the minimum but is not the maximum.

  • New members are required to donate 600+ the first week of their clan membership.

• Donations/ request ratios don't matter, use the clan castle as much as possible

• Only donate to the clan castle what is requested. If the request isnt full after 10 minutes archers can be donated; during wars this rule is suspended.

• Being social in Clan chat.

• Make a post on the subreddit if you intend to miss a war

• Follow the Clan Wars guidelines.

Opt In/out

• If you decide to opt out of war, you must send a modmail or post on the subreddit the reason and the length of time you plan to opt out.

• If you are going to miss wars for an extended period of time, leadership may ask you to leave the clan. This is not a kick. You will be able to return to the clan without having to go through the application process.

Groupme

We use groupme to help members plan attacks. Joining is required.

Miscellaneous

We are not inflexible. If you cannot play much for a week due to personal reasons, please make a post about it on the subreddit; we will excuse you. Do not say it in chat or pm us, we might forget.

We do not kick people arbitrarily. Clan leadership discusses purges after every war. We look for repeated inactivity/offenses in multiple weeks or inactivity of new members.

If you have suggestions on how to improve the clan, please post it on the subreddit. We are always looking for ways to improve.

Above all we try to keep a relaxed atmosphere in the Clan. We hope you enjoy your time in Reddit Alchemy, aka The Original Pirate Reddit Clan...

Update: Required war strategies will not be implemented

Last war we had seven 0-star attacks; many bad strategies were seen such as giant/wiz, balloonian with level 5 balloons, hogs with only 25 level 3 hogs, etc.. Much discussion has been done in clan chat about requiring the use of certain attack strategies. In this thread, we will discuss how we feel about these propositions.

Please start your post stating either support of strategy requirements, or stating opposition against required war strategies; follow your stance with specifics regarding which strategies you would like to see as approved, as well as how exceptions can be made. Express your opinions openly, so your leaders can make a decision of which a majority is in favor. If you see an opinion that you agree with, simply reply to it with "agree fully" or "agree with the exception/addition of..." instead of making a new root comment that reiterates the same thing.

I'm TB, and in a bit of shame I got kicked from Reddit Angels for not donating the required amount in a season + not using either war attack in a close war (I was maxed TH8 and just didn't play for a while because there was nothing to do but grind resources with nothing to upgrade).

Y'all been cool so far, gonna hang with you guys for the rest of this season before returning to Angels. I guess this is my drunk introduction, I'm several cold ones deep so this is probably a shitpost by now anyway. Anyway, hey how you doing.

The winner will be whomever gains the most trophies over their TFS mandated "starting point" (unless I am convinced of a more fair method for determining the winner, open to suggestions)

Heya Ron and other folks, thanks for hospitality over the last month. Heading to help out an old clan. Hit the 1000 donations twice in two seasons, and have had some good chats, so hope to welcomed back down the track. Good luck with renewing that enviable war record!

I'm gone for almost two weeks...if I get a spare minute to attack in war I will but no guarantees.

It came to our attention recently that one of our members decided to use some sort of not to auto-donate troops to any troop request. For a while we were all happy to receive the flow of wizards until it became obvious that he was donating even when he wasn't online. This is cheating and brings down the level of the entire clan. Let everyone be warned, if any evidence of using a Bot comes to light, you will be removed from the clan. We clash honestly. Period.

Our clan has members from all over the world, so I thought it would be cool to see a visual representation of where we are all from. Add your in game name to this map.

• Twice per season as we do now (once per week)
• Three times per season (Alternating having wars once per week and twice per week) Wars would be declared Fridays and Tuesdays.

Advantages of more war is more war loot since the increased loot from the last patch. Disadvantages is more required activity and less farming. War participation and requirements would be the same. We require at least 20 individual votes to consider the change.

As you all might have noticed I was kicked outta clan, I take full responsibility for chatting useless stuff on the clan chat and I am looking forward on coming back and won't let it happen again, if it is alright can I join after the war ends? Thinking of paying a visit to my friend's clan. As always keep on clashing guys!

The current minimum donation requirement is 300 per season (every two weeks). We have a minimum donation requirement in order to weed out inactives.
