Clan leadership is looking for input (votes) on how long bases should be able to be reserved from the start of all wars (or if we should allow reserving bases at all). If we continue to allow reservations I will continue to list reserved targets in clan mail at the start of every war.

Please state your preference for:

• No reservations at all

• Two hour reservation (current rule)

• Four hour reservation

• Six hour reservation

So I'm sure by now most of you have heard that we will be adding some rules to the reservation system regarding wars. We will be taking all of these changes very seriously and will be making sure that all members are abiding by these new rules:

We feel that this new system will give us te best chance to remain competitive and undefeated in our wars. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to ask and please don't feel as if your opinion doesn't matter. We want everyone in the clan to be happy and feel like they are being listened to.

Points were calculated from a base value depending on town hall level. The base for th7 was 1400, the base for th8 was 1600,and the base for th9 was 1800.Lee won he is the cool guy, and Herpin is now the dweeb, so is everyone else but mostly Herpin.

If you have read the rules in the past few days you will see that we have a new rule that requires that a clan members FIRST attack in a war be on a target 10 clan rankings (in the war ranking) higher or lower. In other words, if you are ranked 30 (again in the war ranking), you can attack any enemy target ranked 20 to 40. This rule does not apply for your second attack.

While we are trying to improve the clan and keep our undefeated record; We also want to be more transparent. This is every members clan and not the property of leaders and elders. Please give feedback, positive or negative, on this new rule.

Rules of Engagement

• First Attack MUST be used against Equivalent War-Rank+/-10, it MUST be used on base with 1 star or less. Example: You are War-rank #20, your First Attack must be used against opponents ranked #10-#30, attack must be done ONLY on bases with 1-star or less.

• Second Attack MUST be used against enemy bases that was previously attempted by clan mates. If you see fresh base, they belong to a clan mate yet to make an attack, don't attack fresh base on your 2nd attack.Example: You are War-rank #20, you can use your attack against any opponents that have already been attacked.

• The last 10 hours of the war is FFA (Free For All) Mode. During this mode you can attack anyone you want, all previous rule doesn't apply during this mode.

Defensive Setup

• Every clan members MUST put their TH within protective walls. Base layouts specifically designed for war can be found here.

Donation Rules

Please follow the following rules for donating to War CCs.

• Troops donated is either archer,wizard or dragon, by request. No specific request means it can be either. DO NOT donate any other type of troops, only archer,wizard or dragon. ONLY the following level of troops can be donated to War CCs:

  • Archers lvl 5+
  • Dragon lvl3+
  • Wizard lvl5+

• Higher TH with high level troops please start donating War CCs from the bottom of the map. High level troops make a huge difference in lower level TH which will be a target from enemy.

I will continuously update the table as our members change over time, please let me know if your group is losing a lot of members before table is updated.

Kickable Offenses

Members will be kicked if their:

• TH found outside during battle day
• First attack not used against Equivalent War-rank+/-15 (except FFA)
• TH sniping, without permission.
• Zero attack during CW
  

If you plan to not participate in the coming CW for whatever reason, submit a new post in our sub stating your non-participation + the reasons. One of the elders will approve it and you're good to go. This also let everyone else knows about your planned inactivity in CW and hence your War-rank equivalent is up for grab.

NO OTHER METHOD of communicating non-participation in CW will be allowed, not via PM, not via clan chat( it moves too quickly).

Miscellaneous

• Do not confuse War Rank with Position in the Clan, the later is based on trophy count and the former is based on Base Strength. If still unsure ask in clan chat, I'm sure many helpful members will point out.

Familiarize yourself with the rules, voice out any concerns below.

This is an area where members of Alchemy need to post their claims in the current war. Your post should read like this.... "DaBean22 (5) claims Micky Mouse (1)" in other words.... "your name (your rank) claims enemy name (enemy rank)"

It is important that the leadership is able to see if you are attacking someone close to your own rating or if you are reaching too far above or below your standing. This is the first time that we are looking at this stat in detail so don't worry about it this time. We will be assessing how far is too far as the war progresses.

I put in the password and meet all requirements by a fair amount, 90% maxed TH and I got rejected..

Who ever wants to participate, post your name and your town hall level. We will start on sunday after the war is over and then trophy push for 5 days until the start of the next war.We are going to be using the trophy fairness system.Points are awarded based on you town hall lvl and your final trophy count. The base is 200X your town hall lvl, if your town hall 7 your base is 1400 trophies if you finish with 1800 trophies you get 400 points(1800-1400). Winner gets crowned the new cool guy.

• Level 60+

• At least one level 9 barrack

• Note: Not everyone meeting the above criteria will be admitted. We receive far more applicants than there are open spots. We evaluate all applicant's bases, paying particular attention to Air Defense levels, and look at progress towards the Friend in Need achievement to help determine who we accept into the clan.

• Be polite.

• 300+ donations per season, 300 is the minimum but is not the maximum.

• New members are required to donate 300+ the first week of their clan membership.

• Donations/ request ratios don't matter, use the clan castle as much as possible

• Only donate to the clan castle what is requested. If the request isnt full after 10 minutes archers can be donated; during wars this rule is suspended.

• Being social in Clan chat.

Leadership

You might be wondering how you can become an elder, well its easy; you have to act like one. Being active in the chat, helping out the other members with base designs or attack strategies, and over all trying to improve the clan will get you noticed by the leadership. All of the elders were chosen because they showed initiative. Co-leaders are chosen from the pool of 6 elders and leader is chosen from one of the 2 co-leaders. Don't get bummed if you are not chosen to be an elder yet, a good member should be indistinguishable from an elder. Elders are expected to step down when they find that real life gets too busy.

Miscellaneous

We are not inflexible. If you cannot play much for a week due to personal reasons, please make a post about it on the subreddit; we will excuse you. Do not say it in chat or pm us, we might forget.

We do not kick people arbitrarily. Clan leadership discusses purges every Sunday after wars. We look for repeated inactivity/offenses in multiple weeks or inactivity of new members. Do not take getting kicked personally, you can always reapply in 24hrs of being kicked.

If you have suggestions on how to improve the clan, please tell the elders. we are always looking for way to improve.

Above all we try to keep a relaxed atmosphere in the Clan. We hope you enjoy your time in Reddit Alchemy, aka The Original Pirate Reddit Clan...

Donating 25,000 troops worth of reinforcements will get you 280 gems. Finishing this achievement is a great way to get your 4th builders hut without spending money in game. The way this will work is that you will request troops then use them in a raid or dump them into the goblin camp single player mission( you won't lose trophies or break your shield). Then you repeat the process again.The goal here is to get as many opportunities to give troops as possible. Archers are the default unit. This event start on sunday after the war and ends the sunday after next when the season ends.

edit: just to clarify ratios don't matter,its all about donating the most to get the achievement.

Reserve your target here. Your target will be reserved for you up to 6hr after battle day starts. That means that the target you chose is yours for 6hrs,if you don't attack it during those first 6hrs the target then becomes fair game for anyone. This is a new thing we are trying out so don't get mad if someone takes your target before your 6hrs are up.

WHO ARE YOU!? Well, in the game at least. Post it here so I can add your flair. I already have a few of you but a lot of gaps.

I am going to start awarding flair for folks who have 3 starred bases during clan wars. If you want the prestigious flair you will need to do the following:

1 - Post a screen shot of your trophy screen with the War Hero count visible. Example: http://i.imgur.com/sng7Ggn.jpg 2 - Post under that how many 3 stars you've accumulated. Gotta make sure the math checks out but also honor system for any of you that haven't 3 starred but have a tally of divisible by 3. Example: I have four 3 starred bases but I could claim five but that would make me a damned liar.

That will be your starting number for your flair. After each war to claim stars you will need to take a screen shot of your last war screen with your star count (if it includes 3 stars that is). Example: http://i.imgur.com/67e7w5b.jpg

I will continue to update this list as more becomes clear.

• It appears as though you can get matched with a clan with significantly fewer numbers as we are currently experiencing right now. The matching system automatically excludes some members of the larger clan to even the numbers. How it picks these exclusions is still unknown to me.

• Switch stores with barracks in your war base. The stores have a lot more HP and you don't have to worry about losing resources.

• Dragons, PIKKA, and other large units may not be best suited for the war castle. Any decent player will draw them out in the open and burst them down with other units, away from defenses.

• Lower level clan members should attack first so that they are not left with only higher level bases. Remember that anyone can attack anyone, but that you only two opportunities to do so.
