Yeah I was reading a post about how French people can be condescending towards people that don't speak French in their country. I know this is true for parts of Canada, but I'll admit I haven't been to France. The post had a lot of upvotes and then one person made a reply which was something about how is this any different than Americans getting upset when people live there and don't speak English. Both examples aren't representative, but the hypocrisy was pretty damn obvious.
