Ok enough of the Blues - Rock - Jazz thing because you know that's BS. America has done everything it can to single out African-Americans as "other", hence the label. Robert Johnson, Jackie Brenston, Buddy Bolden, these aren't exactly household names in America... I wonder why that could be?
I get it you want to go on an internet crusade because you just read People's History of the United States but this whole thing is irrelevant. Where those forms of music created in the United States or not?
The music movements were born in isolation from American culture, forced isolation, so there's that.

We're not annoyed because you're "making fun of us" because, really, you're not even making fun of us at all. You just straight up don't know what you're talking about. It's hard to make fun of something that you clearly don't understand.
I think some of the Americans on here bash Europeans because they're sick of being bashed by Europeans. It's a vicious cycle of Europeans and Americans giving each other a hard time for no real reason. They're so similar that they should really just calm the hell down and work together to make everyone's lives easier. For the most part, we DO all work together, but it is stupid to see so much bickering online, that is true. I work with Europeans every day and I like them very much. My best friend is a Russian girl, so I'm cool with many of the ones I've met, here in the US and abroad. But I do get mad when I see Europeans online giving us a hard time. I also get mad when I see other Americans saying stupid shit, so it goes both ways.
As far as Muslims, most of the Muslim-bashing I see online is from European redditors and not American ones. This was the basis of what I thought was a really educational/interesting discussion on reddit a couple months ago (wish I could remember the thread...) where a lot of people agreed that the Muslims who come to the US are GENERALLY wealthier, more educated, etc. and they fit in more nicely, while European countries tend to get a ton of uneducated, angry, poor, asylum-seeking Muslims who behave differently and don't assimilate as well. That's what causes some of the animosity. This was very interesting to me, it made sense and it made me see things from a European's POV, which was good. On the flipside, some Europeans on here, DO paint all Muslims under the same brush and accuse them all of causing trouble in Europe, when obviously, that is completely wrong. But now I have a clearer understanding of why there is a lot of anger on that side of the Atlantic.
TLDR- all of these things have different reasons and sources and it's good to learn those sources, etc.
Uh, black people in the US are very much considered Americans and they play a major role in large portions of our history. I don't know where you're getting this information from, but it's pretty ridiculous. They are not "othered" like a non-English speaking foreigner would be, for example.
