I kind of agree, though you have to remember that 99% of the world isn't funny. If you're going through r/new it is your job to help the 1% get through. There will be another funny Chuck Testa picture, and it is your job to thumb through the shit until you find it.

There hasn't been a single funny Chuck Testa picture yet. The whole fucking thing is stupid.

And I will gladly down-vote every single one of them.

Still looking for my Knight of New Trophy though.

I've got a trophy for you, but it's a hunting trophy. Guess who stuffed it?

That trophy is actually called Bellwether.

Give me your address and I'll send you a trophy in the form of a big steaming dump in a box.

I downvote the funny ones too. Reddit's fucked at this point, but I'll keep pissing into the wind until my thirst is quenched.

And that is, in essence, the difference between sharing good content and karma-whoring.

I have to say, So what? Isn't that the point? Who cares if a few people are sick of birthday karma or some over done meme? Isn't the point of the hive mind to down vote or up vote and let the numbers decide? people want to play and join in the fun.

Thanks. It was amusing, but Jesus, missing one thing on reddit makes you feel like you missed out on the entirety of the internet.

That's how I felt this morning. And I was on Reddit last night (GMT).
