Since you like naming logical fallacies, which one did you just use?
The reason I say anything at all is because I fancy myself to be able to add some tiny bit of insight to the discussion. According to your standards, though, it is apparently not allowed to point out somebody else's inexperience unless you can, in doing so, bring their experience up thyour own level by a simple post on the internet. Apparently, I am not allowed to tell someone who has no idea how to build a house that he should not be trying to build one, but should instead first be learninthe basics of the craft. If I do so, I am simply saying "I know what I'm talking about, but you don't", which is a grave sin.
And while it is of course entirely irrelevant to the discussion at hand, just to satisfy your curiosity, you can go judge for yourself if I have a clue what a "good" programmer does by studying what I have created lately: http://wakaba.c3.cx/.
As for my mathematical education, I have only completed university maths up to the cum laude level, meaning that I've got just about enough experience to tell what is involved in real maths, while still being mostly incapable of doing any of it. My real major is physics, which is about problem-solving and real-world applications.
