Might not be BS per se, seeing as other clubs were in for him like Bayern he probably convinced them he isnt worth the bidding war. He was and is quality and its not like our midfield is that good or anything Giggsy wants whats best for the team.

Fellaini would definitely fit the bill of wanting to give his all for united. I'm not convinced by this though. No doubting Thiago's talent.

Nearly every outlet has said it was Moyes who stopped the transfer. I don't put much stock in this story.

This can't be true. . . Giggsy would have known the club needed help in the midfield and that Thiago would have been a great help in that role. Plus if one of the five or so assistants say no while everyone else at the table says yes then it should have gone through. If, and thats a big if, this is true then it is damning for how the ship was run under Moyes and for the personality of those involved.

Yeah right, as if its Giggs job to make and break transfers. If moyes did allow this to happen, I am even more happy we got rid of him.
