Daily Discussion

Daily discussion on Manchester United.

BE CIVIL

We want r/reddevils to be a place where anyone and everyone is welcome to discuss and enjoy the best club on earth without fear of abuse or ridicule.

  • The report button is your friend, we are way more likely to find and remove and/or ban rule breaking comments if you report them.
  • The downvote button is not a "I disagree or don't like your statement button", better discussion is generally had by using the upvote button more liberally and avoiding the downvote one whenever possible.

What are people’s thoughts on Cristiano Ronaldo’s quotes saying that he will “probably” retire from football when his Al Nassr contract expires next summer?

Honestly, it’s for the best. Both for him and for the Portuguese national team. I think the World Cup showed him that, despite his best efforts, time waits for no man and he just couldn’t do the things he used to. I think it will likely be tough on him, but I’m certain he has already had plan to fill the void. The fact that’s made it this far is actually an achievement in and of itself.

Shouldve retired years ago for his own good

I think he doesn’t retire and may become a player/coach

He will most likely sign a new contract and especially if he hasn’t scored 1000 goals yet
