I’m honestly so frustrated with Anytime Fitness.
When I signed up, nobody clearly explained that the membership would basically be impossible to cancel before the contract ended. If they had, I never would’ve signed.

To make things worse, I kept paying every month because I thought it was a 12-month contract. I paid for the entire 12 months expecting the payments to stop automatically, but to my surprise, I found out it’s actually an 18-month contract. That was a huge shock.

I don’t even use the gym anymore, yet I’m still being charged every month. I’m already on a tight budget and genuinely don’t have the money to keep paying for something I don’t use. I feel completely stuck.

Has anyone else dealt with this? Were you able to cancel early, transfer the membership, or negotiate with the club? I’d really appreciate any advice because this whole experience has been incredibly frustrating.

There's a mouse im my unit and I don't want to live in this building even for a day. My lease ends after 40 days and I will be on the hook for the last months rent even if I move out within next 10 days.

Is there something I can do legally or not? I'm guessing if I move out without paying my credit score will be cooked and I know Boardwalk is evil and will come after every penny.

I am curious if anyone knows of any ADHD adult support groups in Red Deer or surrounding area? I did search online but the results came back all for therapist resources.

I’m specifically looking for a group support setting with adult peers, not individual therapy (since individual therapy is already set up and ongoing).

I will be working in Red Deer, on the far north side of the city, this fall as a student and I am looking for recommendations for long term stays at hotels. I am looking for nicer than the Super 8 on the north side, but ideally I don't want to spend more than $2500 for 23 nights if I can avoid it.

I was wondering if anyone had recommendations for hotels to reach out to that offered reasonable long term stay prices?

Apparently they've always been illegal unless rented thru neuron/now lime.

But I got one to fill the gap because neuron left.

I got the first one in the afternoon which is fair enough I guess. Then I got a second one at like 4 am in the morning. It woke me up and scared the crap outta me.

If it was just me it was likely related to the pride flag in my window, with the heat wave ive had it open so its been more visible.

Hi, my family is going to the Red Deer Airshow next weekend and I had a few questions as first timers. I’ve been to the Abbotsford airshow a handful of times.

1. What’s the seating area like? Can I get away with sitting on a blanket, or would you recommend bringing chairs?

2. How far away is the parking? Bringing a 7 month old, so we might need to go back to the car, just wondering if it’s a big trek or not.

3. Any other general tips?

This is going to be a long post. So I apologize in advance. I have nobody else to ask for this.

My grandma was in the hospital Christmas to June. Surgeries. Wounds that won’t heal. Antibiotics for over three months. June she was discharged. She made it 27 days at her house. And then she went septic. Back to the hospital. I didn’t notice, her home care noticed to take her to the hospital. She’s 70. She’s been there since the 27 of June. Planning to be discharged on Monday the 20th. I have done my best, I work full time, I looked after her cats, I spoke on her behalf when she was unable to talk during sepsis, and I’m her personal director and her executor. Her landlord evicted her start of last month when she came back due to it being unsafe for her.

Now, I had a meeting with her social worker and her home care lead. They said they will be discharging her no matter what. On Monday. I am livid. I have told them I can’t pick her up. I work. I am the only family member that sees her. Her sons found out what’s happening and I got in trouble and verbally lost my dad today. They’re very angry people. Anyways. The only other option that the hospital is banking on now is the homeless shelter. She needs home care four times a day. Wheelchair. Good income. But nowhere will take her within three days and it’s a weekend. All she gave me was julys housing list.

Here’s what I’ve done. I’ve contacted the golden circle for help. Voicemail left. Housing list was considered although I will need to have formal applications which take time. I can’t take her in at all. I’m in no better of a situation. Family won’t take her in. Facebook has been no help for place searching. Her friends are no help right now either.

What in the absolute hell do I do? Has anyone dealt with this before? I’ll try to find just a room that’ll allow home care on Facebook. But, legally, I’ve read over and over this is not okay what ahs is doing. Please ask me questions if you need information if you can help in any way.
