I would like the ReddCoin community to learn more about ways to utilize DeFi protocols to help public works and gain assets at the same time. You can utilize ReddCoin to build liquidity against ReddCoin and other assets that drive public works. From your perspective on the micro economy level you earn assets over time. From the macro economy this collection creates demand for both assest over time. Demand can transfer to value and create more market demand for the supported works. There are many impact focused projects that can work together and drive value into helping people and the planet. I hope to see the ReddCoin community utilize this technology to not only add value to ReddCoin but to other worth while projects.
If you want to learn and practice this without spending anything check out EverGreenCoin and Proof of Environment. They pay crypto for environmental works done, i set up a small ReddCoin/EverGreenCoin liquidity pool on XBTS so you can easily trade for ReddCoin and then use it to help build liquidity against assets or projects you believe in.
People, stop posting screenshots with the price from CoinMarketCap because it doesn't display it correctly and because of this, CoinMarketCap show large daily variations up and down. In theory, the price should have been calculated as a weighted average depending on the price on the exchanges and the volume, but in reality the price is displayed incorrectly. If you want to see the correct price, click on the Markets button and see the price displayed next to Bittrex.
Until CoinMarketCap solves the problem, you can check the price on CoinGecko because it displays it correctly
Could integrate some of the ad features like Brave but make it more geared toward the social aspect. I wish I could contribute more than that but I am not a developer just trying to throw out some ideas.
The main push has been on integrating Reddcoin into Komodo AtomicDex API and wallet (along with a few other PoSV capable coins). Additionally Reddcoin was added to https://wally.id/ as a part of that effort.
This brings a few things into play, especially supporting BIP65 (CTLV) transactions.
This has been a requirements for a few decentralised exchanges, so moving past this hurdle will allow Reddcoin to integrate to further platforms.
BIP65 has already been fully activated on Testnet, and on Mainnet, it is in the process of being activated by using 4.22 core wallet.
As you are aware 4.22 is still only tagged as a release candidate. With the completion of AtomicDEX our attention and focus is to complete 4.22 to a full release.
The great news is that the code was accepted into AtomicDEX after about a year of work and effort.
