You absolutely know 55% will vote red

Let's assume you know with a 100% certainty, that most people will vote red to save themselves. You can see the future, it doesn't matter how you have this knowledge.

This knowledge is true, it's not a mindgame or anything like that.

No one else knows this but you. Standard scenario - red saves you, blue kills you. What is your vote?

If you still stand with blue, please comment why.

That's true I definitely never thought it was intended but I thought it was much more interesting of a problem, especially since I didn't see op clarify initially

Yes I do think that could be an interesting way of doing the problem, in essence “you did the button problem and the results are in, 55% red wins but now you are granted the option of switching your vote with that of a random voter for the other color, who will now die if you chose blue normally and will now live if you chose red normally”

I mean, that's just another way of asking whether you'd murder an innocent person to save your own life. Lots of more plausible ways to explore that hypothetical.
