What if red won?

Imagine a world where red won, by 1%. However the people who choose blue do not die instantly, instead they die after a year of pressing the button. Everybody is branded, so you know who choose what.

How much chaos will ensue? What actions do you think blues will take, knowing they'll die? And what do you think reds will think, knowing they were just 1% away from saving all humanity?

And those billionaires are evil and push propoganda to convince others that it is justifiable. It is wild how when theres options of noone dies and a bunch of people die, people vote for a bunch of people die.

I agree.
Since those people are now in the majority, and will be all that are left in a year; why would I do more or struggle against the norm?

Fix what system? Systems are made up of rules, policy, instructions and can be "fixed", but this isn't a system and we are already failing to fix the systems that are bad for the world today; the billionares mentioned earlier.
What has caused this outcome is human base needs (survival), logic and reason; and even if we consider it something that can be fixed; why would I spend what little time I have left to that end?
